Very useful video. I’m am trying a similar set-up with a R6 + 105 mm macro lens but I am finding that the Smallrig clamps I have tried are not strong enough and struggle to hold the combo steady. I am using ball head versions rather than the one in your video which was not available. Did you have any issues/try different clamps?

Thanks for your feedback. i didn;t try any other clamps, but have had no issues at all with the smallrig clamp I use. There is a link in the video description to the one I purchased if that may help

Excellent video Andy. I'm going to have to get me one of those fancy macro lenses one of these days. I've been wanting one for many years anyway, but this would give me another purpose for it.

Many thanks Craig. They are definitely worth getting. I got the sigma originally for digitising images but use it on location loads and love the bokeh effect it creates

Did you consider a high end optical scanner like Epson?

Hi Andrew, I did reviews and checked those out as well an along with dedicated slides/negative scanners and concluded with the number of slides I have this is the most efficient method for me with the quality I need. Without the @negativelabpro software my decision may have been different as this software makes it so efficient
