Welcome:) and thanks for watching! Yeah just one way to deal with daily stress!
@eduardo_corrochio11 күн бұрын
This entire exercise will probably have multiple benefits for the creator who is making the journal. Not just to record little fun things to remember on a future rainy day (or for family members to cherish a long time from now), but I believe that putting down these images and words most likely helps the brain to focus and clear itself of any "cobwebs" or stress-inducing things that might be annoying it at that moment. So, basically, you are choosing to focus on the specific thoughts for the diary entry, focusing on the template, on the art work ... and it all can bring some semblance of peace and clarity, I reckon. Just a hunch on my part. It is a good idea.

Haha. I know the feeling. Seeing really amazing art by artists can be awe-inspiring, and also intimating. I sometimes wonder if I will get to be as good. But then I tell myself that art isn't about comparison. It's about doing what I love, finding meaning in that, being open to keep learning new things, doing my own thing. And usually when I'm doing that, I find that I've improved some more:)

@Drewscape-art3 күн бұрын
I don’t look up sites on calligraphy much. But I learned how to write nicer after using nicer pens. Main tip is keeping the slants and heights of the letters consistent. dip pens with flexible nibs are great for calligraphy, practicing the pressure. Fountain pens with different nibs give different types of lines, which made me want to write more. Leigh Reyes does a lot of calligraphy with fountain pens leighreyes.com
