steps for future reference: 1. buff nails and push back cuticles lightly, then wash off with a non oily soap 3. rubbing alcohol to clean nails 4. size up nails and glue them on 5. cut them a bit longer than desired and make sure they are all the same length 6. file the very tips down 7. cut edges diagonally to create a coffin ish shape, then file. Remember to file all down the sides, and file the middle in a straight line 8. file bottom 9. smooth out the sides with a filer to avoid uneven nails 10. Use a nail filer tool or a normal filer to file the nail and tip to blend the fake nail to the real one. 11. Use rubbing alcohol on a wipe to clean dust of nails 12. paint on gel base coat and cure under UV light for 30 seconds 13. paint on your main colour nail polish and cure if you want 14. paint on top coat and cure hope this helped! sorry if this inaccurate, this list was mainly just for me when I want to do it in the future without watching the video again 💗💗

Preparing nails: - Wash hands with just water - Cuticles, not at a high angle, slightly pushing them back, dry - Use 180 grit nail file and buff everything! (in circles) go over nail slightly, get rid of cuticle - Use brush and clean dust off - Use nail surface cleanser and wipe nail ------------------- 2. Tips - Apply tips with glue side wall to side wall (not to much glue) - Cut to desired length half and half - File and shape 100/180 - Level out / buff tip until flush with nail - Ph bond (natural nail only) small amount ------------------- 3. Base - Use foundation all over nail (g) thin! - Spread along nail, cap free edge - Cure 10 seconds ------------------- 3. Gel Color - Apply color of choice, get every edge - Layer thin coats - Cure 30 seconds (2X) ------------------- 4. Top coat - Apply top coat (b) - Cure 30 seconds - Wait until its cooled down and clean dispersion layer using cleanser given. - Cuticle oil (g) ------------------- Curing essentials: - Apply layer 4 fingers in - Thumb separate - Uv/led - Take off any excess before curing, using cuticle stick Removal!! ------------------- 5. Removal - File with 100 grit and remove top coat - Pink nail remover bottle - cotton swabs, wrap nail in remover - Use tin foil and close - Wait 15 minutes -> peels off/ scrape it off - Take tips off gently - Cuticle oil, wash hands, lotion -------------------

I’m a nail Technician and I just wanted to let you know that cutting the “side walls “ of your tips with scissors helps with the filing! Also don’t taper the tips( literally the tip of your nails) as much, keep your file completely straight filing at a 90° angle ! There fore they don’t look like almond with a straight edge ! So a recap, cut the tip a little less angled and keep your file straight going up and down on the sides of your nail making the sides super straight and professional quality :) hope this helps( like if you want some more tips !)!!! ❤️❤️❤️ EDIT !! OMG !! Thank you for so many likes ! For every 200 I hit I’ll share another tip ! 2ND TIP is to find nail tips that aren’t round, they should be called half moon nail tips and can be found almost everywhere ! I get mine from amazon :) 3 RD TIP - I would recommend trying gel X ! They are super easy to work with and are usually affordable ! Gel x works with all nail tips usually and keeps them going nice and strong !!

hey! you should see about getting some builder gel in a bottle! It's a thick, hard gel you can paint over the tips, then you can give yourself a fill every few weeks instead of doing everything all over again. I do my own nails w/ builder gel but I use it in a pot and with forms and I use regular nail polish bc I change my nails so often. Just a suggestion! Your nails look great nonetheless!

I do my own acrylics and I really like your tutorial because you show it’s the technique and not the material that makes a good manicure, like what you did is really good and really easy to make, you use way less products than other youtubers i’ve seen do it, so it’s cheaper too. Tysm for the tutorial ❤️ Also I really like your uv light it looks so practical !

I never thought of only doing the tips and filing it smooth. 🤯 I'm gonna try this!! Thank you so so much!!

I would recommend you a tip cutter thing because it’s made specially for cutting tips(like it’s curved) they’re really cheap on amazon or Aliexpress like 2$ Ps: good video I have never seen this technic 😌

I wanted to thank you. I do my own nails and I have tried so may methods that don't last for more than a week. I finally found a way to make my nails last three weeks. Even though I wet my hands a lot they last me three weeks. Right now I finished doing my nails this way for the second time.

my mom bought a nail tool set which is electronic (like the files and cuticle pushers at the salon) which makes all the filing work easier and faster even for just real nails it doesn’t have to be fake. And it was pretty cheap either so I would recommend buying it had like 6 tips for different things: filing, cuticle pushing, removing acrylic nails, foot care and all that

it depends on how short your nails are, i wouldn’t recommend putting on tips if you think the glue is gonna reach your skin underneath!
