Shaharun Haque when you wash your hands, focus on scrubbing under the nails-either by rubbing them against your palm or by scrubbing each fingernails individually underneath the skin. also the best way to keep them clean is to cut them frequently! when you have long nails it’s incredibly difficult to keep the dirt out and that’s the point! nails should be trimmed frequently :)

Nail artist here, and professionally she needs a primer or a protein bond to protect her nails, after 2 or 3 sets her actual nails will be breaking and sooo paper thin because of the led lamp, but they dis turned out great!!

They last like normal acrylic/sns nails. As long as you prep correctly, follow the steps & make your nail the thickest at the apex they won’t break or lift.

It's all about the prepping. If you prep right, use dehydrator, primer and a base coat, it last 2-4 weeks and then you can fill it in at the cuticles. It's easy to do, and it lasts so good!😊 I work with polygel and I really recommend it. 😊

I bought a kit that came with two gel colors, the slip solution, brush and spatula combo and the forms for like $17 on and then a non wipe top coat for about $3 and the led light for $9 I also got a little drill that was about $13 and I stg it's been so much fun doing my nails since I got all that and it wasnt too expensive!

The polygel is URsugar I believe, the top coat i got was beetles top coat, i just got whatever cheap nail clippers, the UV/LED lamp was makartt or something and the drill doesnt have name on the box but it was a cheap one that generally had good reviews so I went with it

kaitlyn :* using nail forms instead. It already has the shape all you have to do is apply the poly gel inside the nail form shape it to whatever length you want place it in you nail and hold it in place while you cure it. The only issue I’ve had was my led lamp was not big enough so it was hard to hold it in place so it doesn’t create bubbles or cure crooked. If you can find a clamp to hold it down you’ll be good to go. I just ordered one on amazon.

My nails are natural and this is the way i do it. Its just overlaying. I used the form on my broken nail and I prefer using a nail tip and overlaying vs the form. Its easier for me.

Ah, don't get me wrong but as an aesthetician & nail technician let me point out some things. You did a good job with the shape. it fits ur fingers but you dont have the proper structure. They were a bit thin and without the apex area,. its more likely to break. There is a reason why nails should NOT be flat. Other than that, you also did a good job with the painting.. Please Keep in mind the thickness! You don't want any liftings for sure. If you want,i can explain more . Xxxx

Hi Lisette ! You’re doing super great I’m impressed. To shape the polygel after it’s cured you can also use a e-file it’s quicker and it often comes with a buffing tip which is usally perfect to smoothen the nail !

For the bumpyness, use a course grit file, then a fine grit file and then buff really well and it should become smooth. Donttt skip the buffing... hope this helps you😁
