Hello! So true with your tips on face proportion. I was trained as fine artist many moons ago and so some of those techniques are new to me but make sense. Oh my goodness! I have always struggled with drawing faces and people. Much more practice required! I really enjoy your videos Genevieve. Your teaching style is very relaxed, and I like how you break down the building blocks for the faces. I am also happy to know you don't follow all of the rules. I love how you include promo codes in your videos and video descriptions that are good for whenever somebody happens to find your video and needs to buy the brushes. I have learned so much from your channel over the last year. My kids love doing your drawing tutorials on paper while i use my iPad. And they always get excited when one of your pets pops in. I totally love all of your tutorials especially about drawing characters in cozy, spring, celebrating, and most of all - the basic foundation of drawing faces, noses, hands, hair, and more. these are really superb to me since I am a novice in drawing digitally. I also like from sketching to painting lessons. and this video is handy too since about finding your art style which I want to know too. I also like your texture challenges in the month of January. As for the answer - on KZbin, The old lady you are sketching is in purple colour pencil and the inking is in the darkest purple color. On Instagram, it is in blue colour as it seems. I would love to have your illustration from scratch course as a prize as I couldn't afford it but I know it is the best else let me know.
