Great content! I’m guessing, it’s much easier to be overemployed once you become proficient in coding, im guessing for us newbies it would be too difficult to juggle it all while over coming that beginner obstacle ?

going from 2 to 3 is not much different going from 1 to 2. have a clear end goal in mind and remember to live your life outside of work. and have a system to keep those work calendars in sync!

would it be worth it to start my bachelors in software engineering in fall? i really want to become a junior engineer because i’ve been self learning for the past few months i just want to actually do this as a job, will my bachelors actually help me that much?
@brybread Жыл бұрын
it could lead to a job and it’s also the path i took. i have a bachelor’s in computer science. whether it’s worth it or not, it depends. my engineer coworkers have a huge range of backgrounds ranging from no school to the most prestigious schools. hope this helps :)

How do you manage the 2nd, 3rd, 4th job calling your current job for employment verification without raising suspicion?
@brybread5 ай бұрын
from my experience, they all have used third party verifiers like ‘hireright’. i just check the box that says “don’t contact previous employer” and then provide my tax documents for proof instead. worked out for me but it may not be the same everywhere.
