Beautiful video and I agree the simple things are the most meaningful. My Greek grandparents had many thriving fruit trees on their property and as a kid I loved picking fruit and eating right from the tree. I just put those hash browns on a small cookie sheet in the oven for about 45 min and they cook perfectly crispy in a rectangle and stick together, then I cut into squares.

When I was a teen my mom and stepdad moved out to “the country” and we had the EXACT same compost protocol! We had the same bucket and my sister and I took turns every evening after dinner dumping the scraps into the pile plopped right next to the main garden. The only thing was that we lived in front of what I called a “horse farm” where my neighbors boarded and raised race horses and some evenings the horses would let out their random horse sounds that would scare the daylights out of me! But that compost did give us a garden that was the envy of the neighborhood and I can only imagine what it’s going to to for your upcoming gardening project ❤️

Thank you for this video.. you make it look so easy! My husband is diabetic and wants to change to a whole food plant based way of eating in hopes that it will help with his diabetes. I, the one who does 99% of the cooking in our household, am finding it so hard to adapt (cooking and eatinc this way). Everything seems so foreign to me. Please tell me it gets easier 😓

Love you. But you know, lemon water in the morning does nothing special. Regular water is fine. It actually may be more beneficial to drink it in the evening. Before bed hydration, vitamin c and collagen boost before you sleep. Then brush your teeth because the lemon can erode enamel. I always wonder who started this whole lemon water in the morning is essential thing?

There is fat in every food. Like oatmeal has fat but we don’t often say that or realize it. Oatmeal actually has a good amount of fat. So, I try to keep my fats low, meaning avocados and plant fats. And no animal fats. But, I will still get fat in my daily diet and that is enough to help absorb nutrients and such. I have been a vegan for years but it wasn’t until I cut high fats did I start to heal and lose weight.
