I absolutely agree. Perhaps if more people in "noticeable positions" continue becoming involved, it will shed light and cut down on the many abuses/wrong-doings happening in these facilities. Prisons in the states really need help too! Every bit of eyes on the matter(s) are needed! As well as constant prayer and physical interventions, will hopefully help to reform the prisons and former criminals and stop these private corporations from making so much money w/incarceration; by continuing to jail/re-jail our fellow men/women! Esp due to no proper rehabilitation practices put in place, for while they're in & upon getting out. #letsdoBetter 🙌

I have worked in the Corrections system for 27 years now. I started out working in the jails and I am now working in the community as a Probation Officer. After watching your video, it has refreshed and energized my mindset and soul as why I do the work I do. I am often asked why I "waste my time" working with criminals when I could be working with the victims or people are are not a burden on our society. I have always seen my job as working for the community as well as the victims, because if I can help an offender change, and not commit a crime against the same victims or, like you said; someone I know, or someone you know, I have helped. I have gained so much knowledge, empathy and life lessons from the offenders I work with. Thank you for what you do. Keep doing it! It is hard work, physically, emotionally and spiritually, but when you have that one measurable success - WOW! what an amazing feeling. Much love from Canada

And also doing it for the unfortunate percent that are innocent and somehow got caught up in the system. That were never meant to be there by their own faults... they really appreciate people of authority in corrections, seeing them as individuals who still have a chance to make it and help to remove that undeserved stain from their name & reputation. Being treated with compassion yet reform of course, the way you'd also want a loved one of urs who came out of the system, to be treated. It gives huge hope to be finally treated as a 'somebody' when you've been wrongly treated like a 'nobody' for so long! Folks in these career positions-(guards, probation, parole, etc.), must learn to 'See' differently & implement styles of individualizing vs. just generalizing, into their process of dealing with these "convicts." It can make ALL the Difference in how they move forward in their lives! Thus just as important as literally SAVING a life/lives! God bless those who truly make that effort. #letsbeBetter 🙌
