I vividly remember the first time I read Qur'an when I was 5. Yes, literally five years old. At that AGE, I was able to tell that these words are not the every day words I hear from people. It felt divine. And to this date, more than 20 years later, it still feels as fresh as it was back then.

This is true. When i reverted, I had a similar experience. I almost forgot that feeling. Jazakallah for reminding me. For the muslims not praying 5 times a day, he's right, give it a go. It changes your life. It will genuinely make your life better, imagine the amount of blessing Allah will bestow on you for undergoing a hardship of changing your day to worship Allah 5 times daily. Your duaas may get answered more, you might see light in dark areas you never thought you'd leave. I can speak from personal first hand experience, salaah changes your life. Having that connection brings you closer to Allah. I have a lot to improve on in salaah and may Allah help me with that and keep me in your duaa. جزاك الله خير

Assalamu alaykum. Wonderful reminder, brother. Masha Allah! Al Qur'an 51:56. Not only are we blessed with the knowledge of Salah as a form of worship but every good thing we do in the name of Allah SWT is an act of worship. How heart breaking that some think As-Sajda is 'humiliating'. May Allah SWT guide them. There is a world of difference between being humble and being humiliated. How can we NOT be humble before our Rabb? Arrogance does not befit a muslim. I am a revert and have much to learn, in sha Allah I will spend the remainder of this life learning about Islam. I watch several Islamic channels, some are far above my current level of knowledge but I will focus a few points and research those. Masha Allah, you have helped benefit many in learning more about Islam from the perspective of Muslim in a non-Islamic country. Allah SWT is the best of planners. Perhaps us reverts are as seeds, scattered across the entire world and from us Islam will continue to spread. Allah Azza Wajal knows best.
