My goodness! Non stop action. What a lake! I am shocked at how well that tube does for those trout. I’ve used tubes for lake trout and burbot, but never tossing and retrieving them like those for trout if that size. Way to go man

Hey Bait'n Bullets, I'm just getting back in to fishing Strawberry. I really like your videos and especially your careful single hook catch and releases. We are blessed for the bounty of Strawberry, but every time someone -- including me-- sticks another deep imbedded treble hooked trout back in the water I cringe.

Sad how timing works. I went fishing at the Berry today on Haws Point because the wind was fierce ahead of an expected winter/snow storm 10/26/23 and like you I was seeking shelter from the wind. I fished from 2pm to 6 pm then had to leave. I caught six Cutties and no Rainbows. The fish ranged in size from 15" - 21" in size. However, they responded differently to my tube worm presentation. Each fish (and several others not caught) followed the lure into shore and finally bit it in a foot of water probably 3 feet in front of me. As I said in the beginning, Timing, I wish I had seen your video before my fishng trip.

Yes that wind can be relentless at Strawberry. Ice season is right around the corner! I had a few fallow to the shoreline. But most hit far as I could cast. I think it might have been on the other side of the weed bed. That's cool you caught a 21 inch. I bet he was fun! Have a good day buddy!

I am super jealous you get to go tomorrow. You will do good! I had a green curly tail jig on but wasn't doing good, so I switched over to the white tube jig. Just like the one I was casting. I had about 20 inches of leader with the simple floating bobber! Don't forget the worm! It's always fun to see the bobber dance around! Good luck! Let me know how you do!

Howdy CJ! I will do a catch and cook on occasion! This Lake has a catch and release law for any Cutthroat Trout between 15-22 inches, have to be released.
