I think when it comes to health is safer to clarify that it worked for you instead of giving advice. Great video Conagh!

I’ve worked on my gut health since I was pre diabetic 3 years ago. It has changed my outlook on everything. Artificial sweeteners are NEVER good. Anything with added sugars is not good. Sugar, natural sugar, is way easier for your body and your gut to breakdown. Therefore making it easier for you to digest everything. I learned this the hard way. I gave up added sugars and I noticed a huge difference right away in my pooping schedule lol. Also, I beat the “pre diabetic” within the month. I definitely would say everyone should be mindful on how many added sugars you take in one day. Adults should have no more than 25-36 grams of ADDED sugars per day. I’m also not an expert but I have learned a lot as well and follow so many people of Instagram (nutritionists) that really just want the best for you. ❤

After hearing you talk about your period, particularly when you mentioned only having bad periods every now and again, endo still might be worth looking into! I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 endo and only had bad periods every now and then. I saw a naturopath as well, and my bloating and difficulties with digestion may be linked to my endo.

I find when you go up in weight too quickly on deadlifts your back will always hurt. Focusing on building core and back strength before increasing weight can help A LOT. I found when I focused on those two things my back pain went away entirely.

100% having a weak or asleep core is the cause of feeling them in ur lower back. I find it also helps to activate your core before doing them cuz then ur core is fired up and ready.

I have struggled a lot with deadlifts as well. You can can try Bulgarian deadlifts, they feel much more comfortables and your Hammies and glutes will be on fire. Plus, the pain of the neck and lower back seems to disappear.

No I actually understand that dinner I have a similiar thing every night lol except I use a pack of ice burg lettuce. It’s so good cause if you make a really yummy sauce it coats all the leaves and is super yummy and filling and add whatever protein and veggies. I usually alternate between peanut butter and teriyaki sauce or a creamy dressjng

Hey Conagh, hope this isn't unsolicited advice 😅 but for your deadlifts have you tried warming up with bird-dogs or mcgills big 3? I've found them super helpful for warming up my core and helps me brace better!

The reason you may notice energy diff from Red meat is from the iron. As females we lose so much iron every month. I am currently dealing with a very extreme iron deficit and it's brutal 😢

Ladies, I need all your unsolicited advice. I do feel like I'm grasping here (and apologize for a long winded message in advance) but maybe someone who watched the video will read this comment and maybe have some advice. I'm 27 years old, 28 this coming February and I feel like I cannot lose weight anymore. I've just gained, and was at the heaviest I've ever been this past January at 173lbs. I'm 5'6" and now 168lbs (and dropping slowly). I know you gotta start somewhere and I have. I wish I had the money to go to a nutritionist and all these health people, but I do not, so I'm really just doing the best I can by myself with my own research. I feel like weight loss is sometimes over complicated and I know you just gotta get out there and MOVE! But I do wish someone could do a personal analyzation of my body to know if I have any underlying health stuff going on that isn't super obvious. I'm overall quite healthy, I am lactose intolerant, and enjoy moving my body by working out, dancing, zumba, skiing, sea kayaking, hiking. I just can't seem to lose weight. Why?

You’ll taking alot about painful periods have you ever considered an IUD I know for myself have Endometriosis and it helped me so much I hope this gets better for you it’s such a pain and really can ruin your day. Also, thank you so much for sharing your acne journey like I used to suffer from bad acne as well and it’s just such inspiring to see. ❤

I'd just like to add it depends what type of IUD you get. I got the copper IUD, and it actually makes your periods more painful/heavier and can last longer but I opted for the copper because it's non hormonal. Recommend researching and getting professional opinions 😊
