How I Found Out God Loves Me

When I was born I could hear just fine, but I started to lose my hearing around the age of four, by the age of six I lost my hearing completely. I struggled to feel love and peace throughout my childhood because kids would tease me and made me feel that I was less than them. I felt very alone and afraid to talk for fear they would make fun of me. It brought me to a very dark place and afraid for the future because I feared what my life would be like if no one wanted to talk to me. But I realized I was seeking the wrong sources, I was seeking acceptance and approval from those around me. I thought if they would accept me I would have a sense of belonging and happiness. It was not until I started to pray to God and turn to Christ that I started to feel peace. Being deaf no longer bothers me, now I focus on what I can do to help others find their own personal peace by turning to Christ.

They lack the light 💡 you have but you are providing for them with the ears that you have but they actually don’t, and that’s to Hear Him! I suddenly went completely deaf in my right ear 10 months ago at the age of 38. I just got my Cochear implant 2 weeks ago!!! I thank God for the technology that gives me a form of hearing again!!! I'm so sorry kids tease you. Being deaf is hard enough. We got this❤

That was beautiful. It made me cry. I'm suffering unbelievable amounts of pain and loss. I love God and Jesus and have never tuned away except for my mistakes. But, I was hurt by many people and I mean three attempts on my life, torture, and was beaten up by three men having my breakfast on a bench below where I lived. It took five surgeries even though there were 40+ people around and camaras, my lawyer wouldn't touch it. He told me the last day I lived there it was political as were the rest. It was a very bad man killing many people in the world today. I live near a LDS temple. I always have said hello to the Elders all over the world that I have seen them as they saved my live on a mountain pass in Montana. Then, on an island in Grand Cayman, I would let them in and cook them a dinner. I have seen your church all over the world. I have always said hello as I went to Carroll College in Helena and lived across the boarder from Idaho in Wyoming and Montana as I was a criminal prosecutor there for a year. I'm not feeling Christ in my life at that moment. I am alone in a new city trying to recover from severe complex post-traumatic disorder. It is very lonely.
