What’s really funny is that john was speaking peacefully while I was fighting silver lynels in breath of the wild. Not only was it a weirdly funny mix, but it helped me stay focused and win the fights. I’m looking forward to more of this type of content, cause we need more of it in the hectic screamy age of KZbin

It's honestly truly inspiring how you've been at this KZbin thing for so long and never gave up, even when you felt like you wanted to, ya kept going and it payed off. John, the honest to god truth is that you deserve the success that you've gotten, and I am happy to be a fan of yours. I found your stuff in 2021 and I've been glued to the content you make ever since, so whatever you're doing is working. By the way, I really enjoy this podcast style video format from you. It's very calming and just a nice change of pace compared to the highly edited stuff, which I also enjoy. Keep it up man, and I wish ya the best in the future.

I found you through the randomized nuzlocke you did with Mikey. The second one. You were playing Black and White 2. I had recently found Mikey's channel and I ended up watching that playthrough. I thought you were hilarious so I looked at your channels. You are now one of my favorite KZbinrs. I watch you to fall asleep, when I'm sad, when I'm bored, I just like watching your content.

I've only got a small channel, but recently during a stream I was asked "when did your channel blow up?", and I tried to express how it hasn't, and that to me it has been years of effort and just being too stubborn to quit, and how I just kept turning up and little by little my audience has grown. It sounds like you experienced something pretty similar. Genuinely enjoying the new content & direction :)

It's wild that the PM7 channel started 3 years ago, time flies, I'm so happy you've been able to see steady success during these past 3 years bc I remember how tough it was for you the 2 years prior to that. I remember being so sad when I thought my favorite creator was about to give up his dream and then a few months later it was insane when that evo every level video blew up and hit a million views due to all the research and practice you put in learning how to not only make more captivating videos but how to market them as well.

When it comes to youtube and streaming, I pretty much stick with what I know. I very rarely branch out and just watch the same 2 or 3 people. But I remember getting recommended the video pokemon evolve every time they level up and just being curious and clicked on it. Again, I almost never ever do that. I'm glad I did though because I've stuck around since then. It was just such an original idea and it just had me hooked. I've loved seeing your channel grow since then, and I'm truly glad you stuck with it

Thanks for sharing this it's really cool to hear the behind the scenes of creators journeys. I gave that Ludwig stream a listen after you mentioned it here, some really helpful points. Idk if you'll even see this but I had a similar experience trying different stuff on KZbin in highschool/college, but post college I decided to go the "safe" route and get a job in my degree. I honestly regret it and wish I'd given content creation more of a real try when I was younger... But I'm trying it now! Juggling a family, a job, and content creation is tough. But I figured it'll only get harder so I should go for it now! Stories like yours have been really great motivators as I'm starting this journey! You rock dude, keep up the great work!

From what i understand, gen 8 is the reason you stopped competitive which i can fully understand. Like GF deciding to only listen to Battle Spot players, was a huge mistake. As i understand many complained about the 60 minute timer, saying it was too much for just a 3V3 yeah ok fair i get that but rulning play for everyone else is not the way to go. I remember your typelocke and all trainers have legendaries very well, those were great videos but hey tbh in my opinion you´ve made much great content even before you did those. Also the randomæy evolve every level, was great to watch. I first heard about you, during one of Mikey´s vids and by that time you were doing thi GBA season 8. I went over to your channel, checket your stuff and fell in love honestly. I loved your drift league content, but its very clear as well that you´ve grown over time. Wish you all the best, and looking forward to future content.

Thank you for this video. I can relate to the struggles, but I don't need KZbin to live paycheck to paycheck beating myself up along the way. Life has done that. I've had two car crashes, one in a storm and one at night. First, a tree fell on my car as I was coming home from work, flipping the car and totalling it, but the airbag didn't deploy so I was able to unbuckle my seatbelt, fall to the roof, and crawl out the window. I was unharmed, but traumatized. The second one was a deer running into the road. It did little damage to my car, but the airbag deployed kind of. The steering wheel cover didn't pop off. It instead broke open, and the sharp edges cut the airbag, so the airbag just deployed enough to leave my wrists with abrasion marks. I've also had two surgeries on the same foot due to a birth defect, and now because of said birth defects, arthritis has set in, but I'm still working a dead-end job (if it wasn't dead-end before, it is now with my feet causing trouble). I'm kind of at the lowest point I can feel right now. It helps to hear stories of struggle and success. It gives me the smallest amount of hope. I've wanted to do KZbin for awhile myself, but I had trouble making content I was happy with and life has beaten me up enough without the added workload of editing videos and thumbnails.
