your transparency and authenticity has been key to me continuing to click on your vids. Thanks for all you do for the community! The volume game is so important. I'm releasing a new song every week this year in 2021, 52 songs and creating content around it. Hopefully it turns into something. I've had songs hit the 3 and 4 million mark on soundcloud and youtube but have never been consistent, so those plays never turned into followers. This year is the year!

I was doing the classic thing of holding onto my material to wait for when the magic moment to put an album out comes. I built an enormous success on KZbin (4M subs + the #10 video on the whole platform) but didn't push the music because the videos were doing so good. But with all this material just sitting there, I rethought the whole thing and now I have singles planned all the way to next July. This video was great for me for making success in streaming music come more into focus.

Thanks for this L. Dre! Got me thinking a little about things. I have a viral KZbin video that's getting between 55-80 thousand views every month the past few months and it just keeps on going. It's awesome and is getting me subscribers but I won't earn a cent from it. Maybe I should try doing a remix of that song and then I can post the instrumental on Spotify?

Honestly, this whole video was a vibe and I took a lot from it. However, if I had to choose one part that meant the world to me it was when you went behind the streams and laid it all out for us. Saying "not every song is going to be the 1mil song" was super important for me to hear. By taking that and putting it into my own numbers it really gave me some perspective! I originally found you through my journey of remaking my LoFi (ish) Zelda EP and thought "Man I gotta take notes from this guy". Since then I've gotten so many ideas and it makes me even more excited every day to make my own KZbin videos and journey. Thank you for always being transparent and honest I appreciate you L'dre
