Hey! I’m planning to apply to the FlexMed program this year and I would love to hear another video discussing the activities you did in high school that got you in! Thanks!

Lathan. Glad to have found your videos, which I shall be following. 🌷🌷🌷 Perhaps it is time to stop referring to your success as being partly due to luck.🍀🍀🍀 It has nothing to do with luck but your obvious intellect and articulate manner. 🧠🧠🧠 You speak so well and I am sure will have performed extremely well in an interview. 👍👍👍 Medicine and the world of improving health inequalities will be all the better for you joining the profession. 😷😷😷 Good luck with the Masters course. 📑📑📑 Vivien 🌸🌸🌸

Feeling so related that I also find having no chance to make any decisions in my high school, like the student union.

I struggled a bit due to health circumstances during my freshman year of college (Biomedical Engineering major at a competitive college) and my SAT is relatively low because it was from sophomore year (bc COVID couldn’t take the SAT junior/senior year; I did test optional). However, my high school track record is pretty good (3.75+ GPA) and I have some great extracurricular activities from high school into college but no actual clinical experience (i.e., shadowing) except volunteering in a clinical setting (i.e., pharmacy for 6+ years). Do you think it’s worth me applying? I want to do this EAP because my junior year of high school in freshman year of college taught me nothing is truly set in stone no matter the trajectory; thus, I want to take conscious steps to assure my greatest dream into being a reality-being a physician-scientist.
