As a mother, I can relate so much to feeling selfish doing things for myself. After 14 years I am finally planning to share my love of crochet (and other crafts) with the world.

I'm so glad you found it helpful! I think KZbin is a great place for crafters, but it definitely took quite a while for me to get monetized!

Thanks for the insider information. I actually discovered your channel through Sandra from Cherry Heart. I watch lots of crochet vlogs and have been toying with the idea of doing my own. Not for the monetary aspect but more for the connection with other crafters. I should really just bite the bullet and give it a go.
@EliseRoseCrochet4 жыл бұрын
Yes you really should! It is such a wonderful way to meet other crafters!! It's more work than I thought it would be, but also more rewarding!! Good luck to you!! Seriously, if I can do it, anybody can!!

I am really enjoying watching your videos, reading the blog posts and looking through the comments and your replies. You are certainly dedicated to your subscribers and followers. I wrote a little of my story a few days ago on another video. In the job that I have had for the last 12 years I was a part-time videographer and used Adobe Premier Pro for editing. We have access to Adobe software and learning platforms like LinkedIn and I was privileged to be able to purchase for TAFE some wonderful video, audio and lighting equipment. Sadly when I leave the job I leave that all behind. You are 100 percent correct about the quality of the audio. It's a real turn off if the quality is bad. You are doing a fantastic job as you present with such passion, integrity and make learning fun.
@EliseRoseCrochet2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so very much! I really appreciate your kind comments! That's so wonderful that you've gained so much experience with Adobe Premier Pro. I'm still editing in imovie and I'm so intimidated by other editing software like Premier Pro and Final Cut Pro. One of these days I will learn, lol. ❤

I love you videos and really appreciate the information in this video!! I started a channel and few months ago and hit every problem from using my iPhone and then iMovie quit.... started using a go pro and the media mod over heated... got a new camera... external microphone broke... got a new microphone and now I’ve lost my momentum. I have tons of ideas and patterns just need to get my excitement back. Thank you for mentioning patience because!! Jesus take the wheel. Happy Wednesday ☺️. P.S. I love your knitted frogs. ❤️
@EliseRoseCrochet3 жыл бұрын
You poor thing!! And yes, Jesus is gonna need to take that wheel! I hope you get that motivation back. My excitement ebbs and flows and sometimes I don't really want to film a video, (gasp) but I do it anyway. Always makes me feel better in the end. It's a commitment I try very hard to keep to myself. Good luck to you and your channel! 💚💚💚

Diversifying your streams of income is the best option because if one isn't performing well the others are hopefully still making money. It took me quite a while to begin making any money at all, but some people do it much quicker than I did! 😂
