This was a VERY inspiring story. I'm currently in the beginning stages of getting my life started. And at times, I think about just giving up b/c it's a very hard, slow & frustrating process that doesn't go anywhere. Probably b/c I'm always rushing things b/c I'm very impatient & I just things to happen right here & now but it doesn't happen that way so I get frustrated about it. Never give up! You were born for purpose. You didn't get here by mistake! I have attended over 150 funerals...2 of which I had to plan by myself, my mother and grandfather's. I survived gang banging when it first began in Compton in the 70's and abuse as a child...I can truly say that because of accepting Christ into my heart and following his heart and life of love..I have the strength, hope and encouragement to carry on and my desire is to bring hope to others. Jeannie - a long time ago I once saw a show where you were giving makeup tips for going out. You incorporated a bright blue under the eye for a pop of color. I will always remember that as it was way before KZbin Makeup tutorials blowing up (And mostly because I thought I was looking real cute at the club with that pop of color lol). Much later, I too worked for MAC for several years in your same region and I was so proud that all of the regional managers were mostly Asian like myself. They were the most hardworking and smartest women. Listening to your story, I never knew that all the classes MAC held over the years came from this idea of yours. I always told myself and my staff that if you make it here, you can make it anywhere. Very proud of your work and where you have gone with your career. Keep it up! Very inspiring... if you strive and work hard you can achieve anyting.. but I thought you were on a TV show that started up when u was younger. Suite Life. I think it's really cool that you take the time to read the comments even if they're good or bad. Life is not easy and there's ups and downs but you learn from people ,grow and deal with your own situations as well. I used to watch the real Tamar was on it but it's not the same anymore. I loved when u did the sale and bargain deal sketch. 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦 I'm really happy that you and your mom have reconnected and are closer than ever. I'm a single mom and I didn't have my parents growing up. I was tossed around and always disappointing my family. I try very hard to be and the best mom and keep my son happy and always be there. Love is important ❤️
