I know the guys who work there, I've been to their showroom a number of times, and I own a number of their sabers. I gave them a second chance after a failure to provide a saber I had ordered some years back after they said it had been shipped. I told them, "Crap just give me my money back and I'll go to your showroom instead." after a brief discussion with the guy at the counter I had my saber in 2 weeks on Christmas Eve and walked away with an additional saber. So I get why people get upset at them, but I've been fairly happy with my sabers and I own 4 of them from Saberforge.

@Toxic Boxic The price is not the same. Compare the Archon and Prodigal son. $250 for basic sound in Archon and $345 for prodigal son with basic sound. That's $100 more for nearly the same saber on Saberforge with awful lead time and customer support.

The archon is slightly longer than Luke's and is missing the clamp/control box. And your statement about glorified flashlights applies to all custom sabers. If you like SF hilts so much then buy an empty and install it yourself. If you want decent customer service and quick lead times go with US.

About the names of their sabers, it's just trademarks problem, as you show it they are not Disney/Lucasfilm associated and they need to cheat a little bit. About the delivery times is well knowed in the saber community that you must be patient and wait sometimes several month depending on the stock. Making a hilt and assembling the electronic can be very long. As far as you are newbie to this hobby you wont be disappointed by your purchase but you'll find better saber from other company or smith. Saberforge's saber arent the best quality saber on the market.

@@Renfrik2804 Yeah,non of their sabers are even screen accurate,just a "close enough version". They make them with very subtle different details ,so that they avoid copyright infringement . Being as such, they can legally make and sell their products without issue.

@@WWIIREBEL I think the subtle details differences are just economic and practic for them. Original Graflex and Kenobi's saber from ANH arent copyrighted as they are an old camera flash for the first and an assembly of already existing parts (grenade handle, graflex clamp and sink nob) for the second. But it may apply to the prelogy sabers as you said. You can find almost perfect replica of graflex (tccs, 89sabers) and obi mk1 (roman props).

I've got a Vahlken from Sabertrio. Turnaround was 1 month (they machine their own one-piece hilts) and once it shipped, it got to me in 4 days. Their customer service was AMAZING, fast replies and they were happy to answer every question I had.

My Saberforge Adept (aka Ezra Bridger) saber worked for a few years and then one day just stopped working. Had to send it back in for repair, which cost like $125 plus shipping. Waited about 3 months to get it back. But, they upgraded the soundboard when I got it back. They take a long time, but they still do get the work done.

Recon Menace I would honestly, just for the sole reason I have watched a bunch of lightsaber reviews and Saberforge seems to be one of the better ones. The way I look at it is, if it’s wait I really want then getting it from them will be the best version of that saber I believe. And I have watched comparisons on the blade and their blade also seems to be very durable. So I’d say a lot of pros but a major con of the wait. Can’t say yet if it was fully worth it obviously but I’m pumped it will be:) I’ll keep ya posted good sir

It's good to see this issue addressed and to see a better option for saberforge clients, I was one of the poor bastards who waited 10 months and then had the saber stop working a week later, I didn't even bother sending it back to get repaired, it would have cost too much in delivery and I had lost all respect for them. Hopefully I may have more luck finding spare parts for repairs and new lightsabers in future from ther etsy.

I ordered two of their sabers around 2018. They took about 2.5 months, maybe three, but the timeline they sent said it would be out in less than 6 weeks. They don't have bad customer service, they have SLOW customer service. Still, their products are quality and they will respond to emails, it just takes a looooonnnggg time.

It's because the ones listed on the Etsy store are already made. The reason it takes a lot longer to get it from the original Saberforge website is because they usually have to machine it and program the electronics to your order specifications. You happened to get lucky by finding an already made Adept with a green LED on Etsy. The 3 sabers I want are all sold out on the website and they aren't even listed on Etsy.

I have some experience with superforge and I'm going to lay it all out here. Don't get something that has a thin emitter like Obi-Wan's because they have a habit of breaking which is understandable being that that part of the lightsaber is real thin. If you're willing to wait, use the website because your order will get to you eventually. It might take a while, but it will get to you the amount of time it takes also can have something to do with the electronics that you order if you get an empty hilt it will probably come to you pretty quickly if you try and get a hero pixel it will take a while because they have to build it from scratch they have to put the electron in and they have to make sure it works( Note there are sometimes iffy on that last one but it's honestly worth it for the large selection they have. Given that you can get their highest quality sound package for like $500)

I have 4 different orders with Saberforge. I decided to build my own from their ASP line so i can get a saber I can truly be happy with. I already own a couple Ultrasabers, but apart from the close to movie lookalikes, I find their designs too bland for my taste. I ordered the pieces for the hilt on January 31st, and the electronics, blade, and charger on February 12th. I waited the 9-12 weeks for the lead time on the hilt, only to check the website and saw a notice that any orders placed after January 31st had a 12-15 week lead time. I waited until last week which was the 16th week I had waited to email them about my ASP parts. I included all numbers that were due and asked for an update on the electronics as well. I didn't get a response but a few days later i got a notification from them about shipment of the electronics. I figured they must have clumped all the orders together, and so i waited. The package came in and it was just the blade, charger, and electronics with no ASP pieces for the hilt. So i emailed them again and currently waiting on a response. Seems weird to me that i received an order for plug and play electronics before the lead time, but I'm still waiting on the pieces of the hilt i had purchased a few weeks before. Probably not gonna be buying from their main store again...unfortunately their Etsy store doesn't have much listed that interests me.

The quickest I got a saber from the main site was less than 2 months which isn’t too bad. And their sales ONLY work on the mainsite which saves a lot of money, they can be 10% to 20% sales, depending on time of year. I own a few sabers from them and have never had an issue so far, I’ve bought from mainsite and Etsy.

Ugh... I don’t know if want him to, to be honest. I want his story to continue in HIS story. This is Rey’s story. Any screen time given to Ezra would take away from Rey and also wouldn’t do Ezra justice. There are a LOT of questions that need to be answered for Ezra. Not enough time for them to be answered in TROS you know? It would be rushed, or incomplete, and thus probably disappointing 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ultrasabers has a non existent customer support as well. I had a speaker fail on my Ultra and I never got help from them. Thankfully I had a friend who was able to find a better speaker and was able to fix it quickly for me.

Same thing happened to me when i was ordering my first lightsaber from Artsabers. People talked about how it took 3 to 4 months for their order to arrive. I know how experiences can be different but just last month i got mine 6th lightsaber from Artsabers and it always took them about 2 weeks to arrive. I guess it also depends a lot on the country you are ordering from.

Three questions for anyone that's ordered from here: 1: I am ordering a lightsaber that has seven parts: Emitter, Switch, Body, Pommel, Sound, LED, Blade, and Blade Plug. I am using the Veteran assembly service to order it. Are the LED, sound, blade, and blade plug INCLUDED with the assembly service or do you need to buy them separately and the assembly service will assemble them with the regular four parts? 2: Is a blade plug required for the blade to attach to the hilt or it it optional? 3. Do you need to buy a soundboard or does it some with the assembly service? Sorry for inconveniencing y'all with these questions, but Saberforge has not responded to the email I sent 2 weeks ago asking this question, so I have to look for help in other places. If you're just making a lightsaber for a prop or for a costume you don't need sound effects and if you do need LEDs for it just get a simple one in external diameter flashlight with LED bulbs PVC tube that is one in internal diameter and then just a little bit of wider diameter PVC to build the outside casing up the way it's supposed to and apparently you have a Sawzall so cutting it would not have been an issue it was more along the lines of sanding and filing and painting it and drilling the occasional hole for the set screw to hold the blade in place and then you just need a piece of clear translucent plastic for whatever color you want to put in it I'm at the flashlight came as a specific color and then minor soldering to set up a switch to connect as a separator between the power and bulbs because I'm doing that for my custom lightsaber I've got the body build I just need a new power switch and the flashlight and a new combat-ready blade from ultrasabers and also I go for the round tip instead of the bullet tip they are cheaper that way
