I saw the ad on KZbin and Spotify sometimes during in Australia, I knew this was coming.

Same! I saw the ad just once on KZbin and immediately recognised the voice. But then the ad passed and I couldn't even see the product as a second ad played immediately after.

I doubt that it wasn't intentional. Neither Sony or Toyota sound like this when advertising abroad and I'm certain Sora knew that it sounded weird, it's just that the company intentionally tried to make it sound like a Japanese person making Japanese mistakes when speaking English. It's like how you see Chinese people saying "I'm a Chinese" and leaving out "Person". Especially considering the packaging having Kanji on it, they want to hammer home that it's **Japanese** to make it more exotic. There was a JAV star on the Trash Taste Podcast who spoke fluent English and was translating her book into English, but her publisher forced her to make it more Engrish so it sounds more stereotypical.

o man, I love hyoketsu. I used to drink it all the time in Japan. I wish they have them here in the west. I tried the lemon, grapefruit, grape, plum and peach. it was like 100~120 yen each can back then. I'm glad Sora is makin it international but he sure got ripped off doing VA work and not being compensated
