Seems like you have hit the stride where you start outpacing those people who didn't work super hard and save like you did to get where you are. I hope my life trajectory is similar to yours. I'm 10 years behind and just starting youtube. I made a decent chunk of money working my butt off and investing in crypto and other alternative assets but I am far from rich. I quickly outpaced most of my friends though and have already started getting hate. People don't want to see you successful because it makes them feel bad about themselves for not getting what you went and got. I do have a house now but I don't think that the real estate trick is going to work for me or people my age (30). We probably won't have the astronomical appreciation in real estate that you got to capitalize on. We will have plenty of other options in crypto and AI though. I've been watching your channel for quite some time though i don't usually comment. I love what you make and you remind me of my big brother a bit also. Hope I can figure this youtube thing out I've been dreaming about starting a channel for a while and looking up to guys like you who have been doing it for a while. Hopefully I can really get after this and make something that people will get value from and enjoy.

Hey Mike, long time viewer here. Wife and I really, really want to move out west but have golden handcuffs ~2.7 int. rate on our small house. We had our first kid and are wondering if it's stupid to cash out and roll it into the new house, putting the minimum down with an FHA loan, vs renting our current home. Sounds like you mentioned this in the video- would interest rate affect that decision? If you had a great int rate, would you ever landlord remotely? Thanks for the video!
@financialwarfare2 ай бұрын
@@tom-uspsa Oof I know you asked mike and not me. Tough to give up a 2.7 int rate. If you bought a house for $450,000 at current interest rates it would cost you $521,271 in interest alone. pretty tough to dig out of that hole.

I'll say this, and I do not say stuff like this often. this is a very brave video. not only are you busting down the walls around potentially delicate or touchy subjects like money and using actual numbers, you're also being plain ass honest about the people around you. you're not afraid to just be honest. it's real, I do not know if it's refreshing, but it's real. i hope a generation of young people see this realness and see a way toward success because the lies from the media won't enable them.

People always think hard workers got it handed to them. I started watching your channel since I was always into the overlanding, Homesteading, and prepping my whole life. What a gracious and generous response to those questions Mike. Those of us who remember the young and poor version of you know you have earned what you have. You’re an excellent example to young men. Congratulations on your growing family and the wisdom to devote time to them. GOD Bless Mike!

0:33 people that have been here for a while know that you had a full time for a while in the IT field so that’s where I figured you got it from. A mixture of that and social media/ YT

I've followed your journey for close to 9 or 10 years (since I was in high school). Biggest influence for me to buy a tacoma and a massive influence on my hobbies. Love watching you grow and really look forward to your continued success!

I discovered you probably five years ago. I have a Tacoma and was watching some modification stuff and your channel popped up. I was both interested and entertained by your content, and yes, I more than noticed your nice "set up" and lifestyle. However, I didn't wonder how you attained it but rather admired it and not ONE time, EVER, did I think it wasn't all your own doing because I can tell that you are the type who can handle business and you did it on your own.

Hey Mike, I have been with you from the very early years. I have one of your very first appendix rigs and I will never part with it! By far my favorite holster. Its been so cool to watch you grow and stay the same dude you were from those early days. This video is super cool of you to do because it is a look into your personal life and you are putting it out there for the world to see. Stay Rad Mike! Always a fan!

I'm 42. I still remember WAY back when I started following you, and I think we briefly commented/talked about playing Overwatch. I love seeing how far you've come. I tell all my friends to watch your channel and see all your cool shit.
