How I Installed an Earthquake-Proof Cabinet Latch

I call this "positive latching" because I do not have to actively engage the latch, instead it slams shut like a car door or house door. Not sold in stores near me disappointingly, got this latch from eBay. Had to spacer the latch anchor away from the cabinet, cut a notch in the cabinet door as you can see. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
