How I insulated my cabin

You can hide the nails from being seen by nailing them to the wood joint, you can also add glue to them, I did something similar for my interior wall. Like the other comments, keep with the good job, its becoming a nice cabin.

The new wall looks terrific!! It will be extra cozy this winter with the thick insulation you installed. And the extra trim around the front window makes the house look more "finished". Good job, Roma.

You can move the bird bodies to a place far your cabin. There are animals around, including other birds, that would make a meal or snack of the remains.

You’ll appreciate that insulation come this winter. Doing a great job. Cucumbers are coming along rather nicely, don’t think your tomatoes have produced yet, you might ought not to have cut them back like you did? It’s a learning process.

Ich liebe deine Videos! 🙂Sie strahlen so eine Ruhe aus. Vor 30 Jahren habe ich auf einem Dauercampingplatz ein ähnliches Haus gebaut. Schön zu sehen, dass ich damals alles richtig gemacht habe. 😅 Nur die Dämmung habe ich mir erspart, weil ich sowieso nicht beabsichtigte im Winter dort zu sein und auch die Fenster und Türen habe ich fertig im Baumarkt gekauft. Drei Dinge soll ein Mann, in seinem Leben tun: Ein Haus bauen, ein Kind zeugen und einen Baum pflanzen. Ich glaube den Punkt "Haus" kannst du getrost abhaken. 😉

Here's a neat trick for dealing with those itchy fibers in your skin. Apply a good quantity of concentrated dish washing liquid (NO WATER) to the infected area, gently rub into the skin and then slowly rinse off the dish soap, rubbing in one direction. Dry skin and repeat once or twice. This will (somehow) remove the fibers. I learned this from working in fiberglass manufacturing and boat repair. IT DOES WORK. ;-)

Hello friend, did you buy the piece of forest where your hut is located or is it family-owned? I hope for you that your insulation layer will last a long time! Why ? Not because of the cold or heat! No, I'm thinking more of the insects and ants. I've seen huts where the insulation was completely out and the cattle hunters had built their nests in them. We'll see what time brings!
