I feel like this is still a four point rotation except two of those rotations go in the same direct, thus making those two rotations essentially one. Very interesting 🤯 Beautiful braidlocs 💖

How do you keep your hair hydrated after washing? How do you know which size tool to use on your locs?

Hi! I just use plain water mostly to keep my hair hydrated. I try to spray it daily. Occasionally, I'll use rosewater, but not often. I use the small nappy locs tool.

Because I'm lazy and take a lot of breaks, I devote a day or 2 to doing it. If I sat down and didn't stop, it usually takes me maybe 7-8 hours. I'm getting faster, but I'm still slow lol. It's best to just break it up by days. After a while, my neck gets tired. lol

Thank you! I’m preparing myself for starting my own locs by starting with a single loc in the back. I will likely start with twists but interlock for maintenance. However in the back my hair will likely have to be braids cause of the likelihood of them getting loose. Anyways, I’m saying that to say that this was SUPER helpful in my understanding of how to interlock my little loc in the back AND I’ll for sure be using it in the future once I start on the rest of my head 💛

Sure!! I've been wanting to do a video covering that, but I've been having a hard time trying to figure out the best way to cover the topic. I will say, I tried to follow the sisterlock grid. I goggled photos and used that as my guide. My "grid" however isn't perfect, but I'm completely fine with that. Hoping to get a video up soon though!

Hi!! I think I only mentioned it quickly. I like using the 3 pt over 4 because it gives a fluffier looking loc while 4 gives a tighter look to your locs. I never considered doing 2 point, but I assume it would also make the locs even more fluffy than 3 or 4. Hope that helps!

I try to make sure it's clean, but I guess I never paid attention to whether it was "squeaky clean". In the past, I focused more on the scalp . Now, I'm trying to focus on the length a little more because I hadn't before.
