Today I’m showing you my weekly cleaning routine with pets! This is how I manage to keep a clean and organized home with 3 pets .Im going to show you how i store my pets food, supplies, and toys. I'm also going to show you my daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule for how i keep & organized home with pets. This pet routine includes cleaning the litter box, vacuuming with my favorite vacuum to remove pet hair, sweeping, and more! Keeping a clean home with pets can seem daunting, but is totally doable!

If you don't want dirty litter box, you can use wood pellets instead of clay and it's a lot cheaper and easy to clean

Use cassava flour, the litter box won't stink and it won't turn into a mud stuff when you cat pee. I used to use a mix of corn meal + cassava flour but the corn meal would get my house corn meal everywhere, also I thought that the corn meal wasn't necessary and it was more expensive. So now I only use the flour, but you can mix it with the normal cat litter. Just a bit of warning: the flour will still get everywhere in your house, because it sticks in your cat's paw, but I still think that it's worthy lol

I switched to the pine pellets 2-3 yrs ago, it's been great. I will not switch back to clay.

I love using Equine Pine Pellet Bedding from Tractor Supply ($7 for a 40lb bag) instead of clay litter. It just smells like a wood shop. There are lots of KZbin videos on how to use it, how it works with various litter boxes, and how to transition your cat. That 40lb bag will last one cat like 2-3 months so it’s better for your wallet. And it’s just compressed sawdust so it’s better for the environment. And there’s not all that dust to breathe in so it’s better for you and your cat. I love it 😁

I scoop the litter tray daily! I also weigh food out the night before 30g dry food in the morning and 30g dry food at night! I deep clean the litter tray every Sunday! 👌🏻😍❤️ Also her water fountain every Sunday 👌🏻

I have two cat’s in my own room i have these litter box with a clay and everytime they pee or poop I cleaned it instantly, Because i hate messy things especially the sand getting and always intact on their palm and the sand goes into the floor. But still i love them, My room always cleaned make it sure you always clean afterwards. 👌

Are you just provoking a reaction by washing the Cats Litter pan , their toilet and toilet mat in your kitchen sink and on your kitchen counter where you prepare food. You also seem to use your dish brush to scrub the Cats toilet😓. The litter will also clog the kitchen pipes if it is clumping litter. What a yucky scenario.

You only scoop the litter every other day and clean it monthly I have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes, they get scooped morning and night and deep cleaned every weekend with disinfectant I also disinfect their eating areas after they finish their wet food meals. my cats do eat 3 meals a day and a evening snack too I also wash their toys out of their toy tub and beds every weekend

Nice ! it's interesting to see what others do to look after their cats. I have two and I refill their litter box completely twice a day. I use recycled paper litter and compostable bags 😁 I always have dry food out for them... not sure if this is bad tho

Nice video but is that a kitchen sink you wash your litterbox in? I wash my litterboxes in the toilet and any liquids from washing the box goes into the toilet bowl.

Eh, Just use the bathtub to wash your litter paraphernalia… much more sanitary option. I know getting that low to the floor sucks, I don’t like it either, but I wouldn’t want particles of cat dookie in my kitchen, even if it’s disinfected after.

Great video but you will clog the plumbing with the residue from the litter box. If I was you I would use some water to rinse some of that and then pour it out into the trash bag that you’re taking out because eventually you will damage the plumbing. Sorry just the landlord in me talking.👀

You can't use same brush for food bowls as you do the litter. Your going to give your cats Bacteria infection like Giaridia,cocccidia etc

I’m not picky about the brand of litter, but I like Clumping and unscented. She gets a can of wet food every morning, and I leave dry food out for her all day.

For cat hair, I just got the furminator brush and its AMAZING! It is kind of expensive at $30, but if the hair bothers you it is so worth it! I pulled out like a whole cats worth of hair from my cat with it haha. It really helps with shedding a lot

My tip for the litter box is to use wood pellets (used for wood stoves) instead of clay litter. It absorbs smells (whereas the clay adds its own stink), doesn't stick to their paws, is so much cheaper and lighter than litter, and my local municipality takes it in the compost. Pet supply companies sell them as litter, but I just buy it from home depot. It honestly is a game changer. Only downside is it doesn't clump so cleaning is a smidgen more challenging but it is so worth it. (Also there's a possibility your cats won't like it but worth a try in my opinion)

The wood stove pellets are dangerous as they have chemicals in them. Get the pine pellets that are sold as horse bedding. Cheap, eco friendly and safe. Tractor Supply has 40lb bags for like $7-$8.

The cat tray must be deeply cleaned once a week with some bleach ,also poop must be removed every day. A very helpful tip for you guys ,once you remove the poop if your cats have urinated already on the litter ,add some talcum powder all over the litter,it absorbs instantly any smell

You definitely shouldn't be using your kitchen sink to clean the litter box!!!! Major toxoplasma cross-contamination WARNING over here (especially since you don't scoop the cat poop out every day, so the parasite has enough time to become infectious)!!!
