I agree! Weekly food prep and trying to use up some of the same ingredients but not making the recipes too similar at the same time - because I always have trouble with consuming the entire portion of food from the grocer as so don’t enjoy eating similar lunches etc.

Thank you so much Emily for sharing your journey as a mother in such an honest way. I appreciate that you show us how models are just human beings at the end and their body change with pregnancy. It makes us feel good about our bodies and that those changes are normal for all women. So grateful for your content ❤

Emily I hope you know how valuable it is that you share how much even a Supermodel has to be consistent after pregnancies and your openness about body issues. You are so relatable! And all of this is so helpful for undestanding that getting back to normal really takes time. (btw this is truly heartfelt, it is one of my very few comments 😊❤)

@morganhanzimanolis5 ай бұрын
I relate to this entirely. I aim for 114g of protein per day - this makes muscle growth easier (feed those muscles). I’m happy that I’m not the only one eating quick, easy, and healthy meals (after I had my two kids I realized complicated meals can take a while). My weightlifting journey has helped reduce the need for complicated meals that weren’t as good for me in the past.

Lovely ! One of my favourite models ❤ Front loading the day with proteins definitely keeps you full, satiated and energized and gets you lean muscle mass along with workouts and some fasting. For supplementation whey protein isolate and creatine do help, although I personally use essential aminos, creatine and electrolytes for hydration and avoid whey altogether and instead opt for hydrolyzed marine collagen. Soft boiled Eggs with yolk are my favourite protein source with fatty fish, chicken breast and lamb being other options. I notice you do not have grains, breads, refined flours, fried stuff, sugars etc which is like great ! Eating a bowl of steamed vegetables ensures you get the necessary potassium, magnesium, phytonutrients and fiber and helps move & clean your bowels and support kidneys while balancing all that protein.

Looks good and if it works for you, keep going. A little high on protein for my taste but you know what feels right to you. I am a vegetarian so I would likely substitute meat-free sausages, etc. Have you tried sunflower butter? I switched to it from peanut butter and find it just as tasty and lower in calories. I have to watch my calories too (5'6", 112 lbs) so these smaller lo-cal meals make sense for me too. Nice!🤩

Thank you so much for this! I’m 6 months postpartum and have been hanging on to 20 pounds of baby weight that I can’t seem to drop. I was wondering if it’s not too personal, are you breastfeeding? I’ve read that breastfeeding causes your body to carry an extra 10-15 pounds then once you stop, that weight just falls off. Curious how true that is.
@carosamperio5 ай бұрын
I thinks she doesn’t, she didn’t have the best experience the first time around, so it makes sense she chooses not to and that might make the weight loss process a bit simpler …Similar to you, I am almost 7 months postpartum and I stopped breastfeeding about a month ago, but let me tell you the weight is not falling off, rather quite the opposite 😅 with breastfeeding I was eating more than usual in order to keep my milk supply high, I was hungry alllll the time and I thought as soon as I stopped, I won’t be this hungry anymore … well, I still am 🫢 definitely not as much as I was while breastfeeding but it’s going to be a long process for sure, also hormones need time to balance once again
@sommerpaige90115 ай бұрын

5:57 you are better off having the natural fat from the peanut butter in the smoothie, than the hydrogenated oils in this processed food… if you are craving a snack like this, you probable need to eat more protein in the previous meal and that should hold you until your next proper meal. This kind of craving is most probably a blood sugar dip bc you had more veggies than protein in your previous meal (veggies have almost no nutritional value bc its really not enough quantity to actually be nutrituos.. they are just fibrous fillers, which is fine if you have enough protein)
