Thank you for being honest. Thank you for being respectful. Thank you for sharing your struggle with binge eating. Thank you for not acting as if losing weight is easy and doesn't require effort. This is a great video.

One of the hacks I started years ago is brushing my teeth and I don't eat anything after I brush my teeth.

Your shirt color, with your skin and hair color, is gorgeous! Definitely in your color palette!❤ My body adds tons of pregnancy weight. I've been wanting to lose more, but I've been patient with myself. 7 weeks postpartum babe#2. I love that you talked about being a binge eater. I do this also. I rarely hear an influence talk about this. GREAT tips.

Thank you❤️. I feel you, it is hard. 7 weeks is really early, it takes time. I know it can feel helpless sometimes, but you will get there

The best thing that ever happened to my health was getting diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes last summer. It showed me how my view of food was so warped. I completely agree with you about relearning how to eat. It was hard but I have a much better relationship with food and my health overall.

Wow!! Hearing someone say what I am thinking is sooo helpful! I too gain and hold onto fat easily, tend to overeat and am generally low energy. It’s inspiring to know I can work with those things and still make progress. Thanks for sharing Cynthia!

My stomach is a bottomless pit also 😅. My issue has never been working out because I LOVE to exercise... especially old school aerobics. I mostly do workouts from the 80s and early 90s lol....they dont hurt my body and put me in a good mood. But I am a binge eater and have trouble getting full.
@CynthiaLАй бұрын
Ooo that’s a good idea (the 80s/90s workouts). Those upbeat fitness influencers come to mind lol! Yeah the stomach being a bottomless pit is really hard because unfortunately food makes the most difference when losing weight.

This video was such an encouragement! I am currently pregnant with baby #3 and gained more weight than I wanted during a rough first trimester! I have already been volume eating to deal with the extra weight I gained early on, but mentioning the walking pad really clicked with me! I ordered one after you posted this video, and have been aiming for 15k a day for the foreseeable part of my pregnancy! Great advice no matter what stage of life you're in! Coming back to say its been working and thank you!

Walking during pregnancy will help so much! Next time I am pregnant I’m going to try to keep the same step count as well. Congrats on baby 3!!

This is really helpful. I had two babies 19 months apart and I hadn't lost all my pregnancy weight from the first one. I have about 70 lbs to lose at 9 months postpartum with the second. He just started sleeping longer stretches at night.

thanks so much for the video. such good points. also thanks for sharing ur numbers. i always find that very helpful. im personally 175 cm (5 feet 9 inches) and i used to weight at my heaviest 80 kg (176 pounds). it wasnt due to pregnancy but i struggeled a lot mentally in my life (very chaotic, law school, bar exam, family issues etc) and fitness just didnt even cross my mind. but when i saw the 80kg and realized how unhealthy i have become i felt quite ashamed. i breathed heavyily after running, wasnt quick on my feet anymore and i literally felt like my weight was dragging me down. so im now down to 74 kg (163 pounds), I recently went on vacation for 1 month and managed to not gain any weight (so happy). my goal is 63 kg (143 pounds). it was quite hard bc i can always eat and i tend to reach towards fast food and sweats at the smallest inconvenience. thats why i took a different approach. i dont buy and fast food or sweats anymore. i allow myself to bake a small cake once a month for me and my husband and thats our "celebration". it personally eliminates the food noice. if i want a snack i have skyr, greek joghurt, fruit and sugar free tea. how long did it take you to loose the weight if you dont mind me asking? also that shirt colour fits you sooooo good. def ur colour

Love this! I agree that walking is also underrated. Because of my binge history is why i stick to a carnivore diet. Its mostly animal products. Its so satiety and i dont get the strong cravings. Im also able to eat until im full and not gain weight. I would really like a simialr treadmill, especially when its in single digits.
@CynthiaL8 күн бұрын
I’ve heard a lot of good things about the carnivore diet. I’ve always been tempted to try it but I don’t think I have enough self control not to eat some carbs lol
@melissav.34968 күн бұрын
@CynthiaL yes! I still have some dark chocolate in the evening and before my period I find I do crave some carbs. But ate my age of 40, I find my body just doesn't handle carbs like I used to unfortunately. I think at that age, women find we have to exercise and eat differently. Anyway, I'm always binge watching your videos because I just love all of them!

I’m so glad they sent that to you. They reached out to me and I’m on the same mission to WALK!! With the colder months and having kids it’s much harder, this is a GREAT option ❤❤❤ yay WINS 🎉 I’m so excited for you 😌 I hope they send it to me too! Waiting to hear back 😄 Dr. Eric berg says walking is one of the KEYS to burning fat.

WoW 15,000 steps is a lot! I guess that's what chasing around toddlers does i reckon ! I do work a moderately active job from 8 to 4 and i get about 3000 in morning then try for another 3000 in afternoon just keeping busy around my home and sometimes work out on my elliptical for 30min 3x a week so sometimes I may get 8000 and that is a bonus for me. I'm hypermobile too so my legs would likely ache if I got that much but I could kick it up a notch. Thanks for sharing what works for you.
@CynthiaLАй бұрын
Eventually your legs won’t hurt at all, trust me it’s worth it! When I started my weight loss for example, we went to Disney and I could barely walk at the end of the day. We just went to Disney and I walked all day without feeling a thing.

I've been losing the extra 10 lbs for my daughter's wedding. I will pass on a few tips, maybe they will be helpful for others. If not, that's fine. Do what works for you. 1. Drink a lot of water! 2. We get a lot of cold weather where I just can't comfortably (or safely walk outside). I found a second-hand step and I've been enjoying coming up with step routines while in my basement listening to music. Cost me almost nothing. 3. A KZbinr recommended a book called "Skinny School". Honestly, the title is a bit triggering for some. The story line of the book is completely different than your standard weight-loss book. But, it's actually a really great book with great tips! It is written by a Christian woman.♥️🇨🇦
@CynthiaLАй бұрын
Good tips Amanda!🩷I know some days the Canadian winter just gets too cold to walk, especially in February. I definitely agree that a more affordable option could be to check secondhand. We actually sold all our old gym equipment on Facebook marketplace when we moved, so I definitely know there are a lot of deals there.

Did you count calories? If so, how many calories did you average daily? I'm also 5'5 and would like to target 125-130lbs. I used to weigh less than that, so I know it's attainable and a healthy goal weight for me.
@CynthiaLАй бұрын
I used weight watchers and I tracked loosely on my fitness pal to get an idea of what foods filled me up, portions etc. Not going over 1800 calories gets you mild weight loss of like half a pound per week.
