Girl that first sign is me! I relate to this a loooot. I'm also currently trying to heal my relationship to work and productivity. It doesn't feel GOOD at all. I went through that same journey of asking myself "why is my self worth tied to my work... is there another way to define our worth?". I was talking to a friend of mine and we both settled on "Ok, we need to expand what it means to be a valuable human and look at ALL the areas of our life where we provide meaning and value to ourselves and others. Whether that's being a good friend, daughter, showing up for oneself, etc." That whole bit about the role of privilege in being able to accomplish certain things---on point!

I specifically sought out a video on healing toxic productivity and I’m excited to have come across your video ☺️ The biggest thing for me was leaving my job after 5 years that was FILLED with toxic productivity and toxic masculinity. When I changed the people and my environment, it helped me break free and start to realize where I was fighting against myself. Thank you for sharing your story! 💕

thank YOU for your wonderful comment! I'm happy to hear that you've found a healthier relationship with productivity after leaving your job environment. Sometimes our environment can be having such a massive impact on our mindset without us even realizing it until we're out of it!

Bruh I got 2 days off work today because of my work vacation and I felt so guilty about me staying at home. But I was so mentally drained and exhausted also stressed that I actually needed it. 😢 hate feeling this way

I founded a little “hack” that I think can help First restrain from productivity altogether for a while and focus on doing something you genuinely want Then say in your head or out load: Productivity is getting what I want Do that enough times and it’ll stick
