Sending much love, I hope this video offers you some moments of peace and mindful rest ❤ I am always surprised by how little we tend to talk about uncertainty in life and of the life cycle in general. It’s actually quite strange, I think, as it is what unifies us all. I am uncertain how my life will turn out, where I will be in the future, but for now, I’m happy to be here and share some moments of reflection with you ❤ take care and please share your words of wisdom. Much love

Thank you Paola, you are making the world a more beautiful place with each video. It is a truth, not an imagined assumption. Each and every person who takes the time and energy to write a comment is absolute and concrete evidence of your impact. You have become such a gentle part of my life, not a passing thing, but your gentle life that we witness in your soulful and honest reflections and creativity seep into our very beings - we learn from you the Art of Quietness and if we practice what you reflect on, that is pure evidence to me that your life is making a difference in this crazy and often noisy world. Stillness is a healing balm and awakens every heart to Love and Compassion for our selves and for each other. What more beautiful way can there there. be for one human being to plant an ever expanding community of people who honor the quiet life, and who are reminded of its exquisite healing properties. In this way You Tube becomes such a miracle worker in the world for extraordinary individuals like yourself. Also, May I just add that it was so sweet to see your beloved Luke in this video. .

I also struggle with managing my anxiety after having a major breakdown a couple of years ago that cost me my dream. But I learned so much about myself during recovery, to slow down and give myself more time, to adapt my own pace, and to be open about what happened is especially important in my opinion. Mental health issues are still a delicate topic that is discussed rather reluctantly. But I taught myself to address my past with it even with people I just met, to treat it like something normal and not as something unspeakable that I need to hide and feel ashamed for. And I find that by doing so my anxiety loses a lot of power over me. Take care, everyone. 🥰💚

You live the life I used to try so hard to make for myself. Life had different plans for me and I got the opposite of what I wanted for myself. I live in the city, single, and every fear I dreaded occurred regardless. 99.9% of the hardships and heartbreaks I encountered in my life were out of my control and created by the people in my life. Whether it was work related, boyfriends, family, or friendships I learned to take the experiences as they came and never allow them to repeat again. Today, I am finally on the other side of the painful past at 47 years old. My life is now entering a phase where I can focus on myself and do things I always used to love doing in my childhood. Arts and crafts are some of the things I am getting back into. Your videos are helping me reconnect to my old self. Thank you!

Funny, I'm 63 and I am struggling with the same things, except I am burnt out at the moment. Taking care of my mom with dementia till the end was traumatic and exhausting, I thought I could die. I just signed up for my Social Security and I will live on just that. But like you, I am happy with nature and the small things in life. For the moment I find myself retreating from groups of people and stimulating activity. I live in a snowbird senior mobile home park in SE Cali. Luckily, we have hot spring pools to soak in and sweeping views of the Salton Sea, the surrounding mountains and desert plain. The sparrows and house finches are migrating in to nest and I keep food out for them. Your videos are calming, and thought provoking and I look forward to them more than all the others. The snow looks like fun, and its very pretty and magical, but I am glad I am relatively warm. Been in the 60s here, soon to bump into the 70s. I do miss the trees and streams, but glad I have a nice view and safety as an older single gal here.

Seeing you reconnect with nature and noticing things other people wouldn't indulges my imagination. I too have a curious mind whenever I am out walking, although it's not so easy here by our shorelines because you have to take extra care not to disturb the wildlife. But I am hoping to entice some new varieties of birds to my balcony once I've planted some climbers. I am inspired by the work that you do and all the secret formulas in homespun objects. PAOLA! I just saw you on Jonna Jinton's latest video! :). What a fun surprise! It is a very chilly morning here in Nashville, TN. All the schools are out due to ice on the roads and I am indoors keeping cosy and watching the woodpeckers and bluejays enjoy the suet I put out for them :). Have a beautiful day. 🌄🌳🐿️😻🐾

Also, I just heard about a book I am checking out of interlibrary loan which I think you would also enjoy. It is A handful of Happiness by Massimo Vacchetta (from Northern Italy) - a heart-warming story of how a tint hedgehog helped one man find hope :)

Paola, the wisdom you share in this video is absolutely timely and beautiful and spoke deeply and profoundly to me today. Thank you! Namasté. With love. ❤ I have purchased your Book and your Audiobook and I have listened to and relistened to your audiobook and read and re-read your book and will continue to do so again and again. From this video: "It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live." Marcus Aurelius "If you believe life is a gift, so it shall be. If you know that goodness is everywhere, You will begin to see it. If you wish for beauty, it shall appear. If you imagine a better world, You will take the first step to create it." Life is beautiful. Life is precious. Life is a gift. Cherish every moment.

Dear Paola, thanks you for sharing your sincere thoughts with us. Your gentle manner helps me also to reflect and feel more peaceful and more importantly that we are not alone in our struggles. And so you know - you are making this world better by being your authentic self , sharing it honestly and so beautifully with the world and of course by sharing your art too.

Beautiful and thoughtful video!! Watching you sledding brought back some happy memories. I had one like that when I was young. Somewhere along the way it went wherever all those childhood toys went. I remember sledding, but not where the sled went. I'm realizing that as I age, the same thing happens to all the stuff and activities of my life. Interesting thing to ponder. Anyway, have a great week!!

Thank you for this thoughtful composition. I agree to live in the present is so important and often so difficult. I deal with anxiety and am learning to accept that I am not in control and I need to allow and feel those emotions. Being sensitive can be tough and scary but we are often the strongest people. Stay warm and be well.

I totally relate about not tolerating the cold well...I don't get chillblains, but I do have Raynaud's Syndrome and so I literally turn purple when it's cold - lips, nose, fingers, toes...all purple. And once I'm cold, there's no warming me up outside taking a hot shower.

I loved what you said about sleep. I haven't been able to sleep longer than 5 hours at night and I know it's a control thing. I have been on a healing journey as well with anxiety and depression. I accepted this sleep thing as another thing to heal and what you said brought understanding. I am 62 yrs old and when I had my worst days in my 20s, 30s there was no talk about anxiety or depression, only advice to just push through it. Now I have learned to sit and feel what I feel. Thanks so much for sharing from your life and your sister's too. Be well and be at peace

I have found lined leggings with 2 pair of socks and long boots and pants keep my legs warm. I wear a tee shirt, a long sleeve cotton blouse, a sweater, and a warm scarf and coat when outside.. A hat or pull on toboggan keeps my head warm. I'm a mess and must adjust what I wear to stay warm or shed when too hot. I do well with staying comfortable because I've dealt with my body's temperature issues for all my life. Undergarments help a lot in the winter weather. You probably know this, but I shared because I used to shiver so much before I learned to layer clothing. I enjoyed your calm talk and watching you cook. Be blessed.

Needed to hear this message today. I tend to overwork in hopes to live a certain way in the future. However, there is no time like the present to prioritize what matters most and start appreciating life as it is in this moment. Thank you, Paola! I feel you are a kindred spirit.

I left the city 7 years ago to live in a small mountain town surrounded by beautiful forest and wildlife in your front yard..literally. The forest is amazing. It teaches you more about yourself than anyone else could. Nature is all about balance and so is life. I've learned that living in the mountains. 🌲🌲🌲🌲
