While I was - of course - working this week and mostly focused on that, I did try spending my time off doing some activities that bring me joy and help keep winter fun and exciting even when the cold keeps me indoors (and with a cold this week, sadly). Perhaps some of these pastimes inspire you to pursue your interests to shake things up a bit now and then and add some new things to your day. Wishing you the very best ❤this week I am hand-signing my art prints on Etsy as a big thank you for all the support. Much appreciated, take care. PS: sorry for the issues with closed captions, KZbin was super buggy this morning and I was having trouble! I will perfect it once I am able.

I wholeheartedly share your love of miniatures! I still have my grandmother's miniature "ice cream shop", complete with tiny cones, straws, and napkins. It is over 60 years old, and when my granddaughters visited this Christmas, I was just as excited as them as we enjoyed real ice cream in little cones no bigger than a thumbnail. 💜

In the countryside, in winter's hold, The world is blanketed in white and cold. But in the stillness, magic unfolds, With birds and animals, a winter's story told. With each new day, a new surprise, In the countryside, winter's skies, Though the world may be still, There's magic in the air, to thrill. So take a walk, breathe the air, And let nature take you there, Where the beauty of winter, Will keep life interesting and much brighter.

Thank You Paola.... I am an old simi-retired machinist. I work alone/quietly in my garage work shop. I have made friends with the local Blue Jays. I have cut a round 5" hole in my garage door so the Jays can come & go as they choose. I will leave a few raw whole unsalted peanuts out for the taking. The Jays will fly through the hole "steal" a peanut. Fly outside and bury it for later. Sometimes they will just sit near me and just eye me making this very low but elaborate chirping sound that is amazing . I think it is the way they communicate softly among themselves. So very comforting to have such a close trusted association with my free wild bird friends. TM

That kaleidoscope though...AND the footage with you and puppy face against the stark white of snow outside was quite intoxicating...felt like I was in a movie with you both. Your videos bring me LIFE & INSPIRATION 🤩🌟🥰❣❣

Wishing you -- & everyone else here -- all the very best as well!! 💖 Absolutely adore the mushroom miniature - SO darling!! 😍🍄❤And, LUV the hummingbird myth!!! 🌺💖Hummingbirds are so very near & dear to my heart!!! 🥰💗🌺💗 I just adore them & get so much joy from having feeders out for them on my balcony -- even throughout the winter!! ❄💗❄Where I live, along the coast of British Columbia, Canada, winters aren't too terribly cold, but cold enough that most of the hummingbirds migrate south. Some, however, do stick around all year long and need to be helped when the temperatures drop low enough that everything freezes. I actually posted a whole lot of shorts recently on my KZbin Channel, all featuring hummingbirds, as well as a video about how I help to feed them in the winter!! ☺💖❄ Keep up with with making self-care your priority -- it's inspirational!! 💗💗💗 You make the most wonderful videos and I'm sure, like me, most of your followers are delighted to see them, whenever you get to post - no matter when that might be!! 💖💖💖

Hope you're feeling better already ❤. I really loved that story. You reminded me of a piece I wrote that is connected to the subject, it's called The Society Of The Individual, I'll share with you a small piece of it: "But they are actual facts that your existing is a miracle in itself. And not just that, do you know how many people you're made of? How many poets, painters, singers, writers, philosophers and thinkers? You are made of a society!"

It's funny how as children we can't wait to grow up and as adults all we want back is a childhood. Keep embracing your inner child it's a beautiful thing to cherish. My children sometimes are more fun then my adult friends. We laugh just because, they collect nature, the run just because, and their imagination takes them anywhere in the world.

I often let my kids paint with water outside, on different areas/textures and watch the change of colours. My youngest is now 4 but my eldest at 12 still loves it!

I was thinking about you this morning...sending you lots of creative LOVE from the Olympic Peninsula 🙏🏻💕🌲💕😇❣❣ P.S. I love all of your videos, but this one touched me so deeply. Especially watching you turn the mundane into art. One day your house will be the GREATEST work if art you've ever made. Those wood pieces you stained put on the window wood took it to a whole other level 💫😻💫❣❣

The natural wood stain reminds me of the tung oil my dad used many years ago. It was a very pale gold shade in the bottle but added no color to the wood, just made it look wet and gave it depth.

I absolutely love your videos. You radiate calmness and your voice is very soothing and relaxing to listen to. I love your stories and all the beautiful projects you work on. The Hummingbird you have is gorgeous! 13:33 Would you mind sharing where you got that? I know they can be found anywhere on line, but yours is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing your story. Thumbs up, as usual.
