So it's finally time for the video you all have been waiting for!!!!! I finally tell you my secrets to how I ended up here in Korea and made my dream of living in Korea come true!!
I know a lot of you guys have messaged me asking questions on every aspect revolving around how I made it to Korea, and I tried really hard to answer all of your questions as best as I could in this video. I live in the US and I graduate high school in 2019. I really, and I mean I REALLY want to go to a university in Korea as an undergraduate, but I'm not sure if I will be able to. I don't have the best of grades at the moment and I'm not sure if I'll get a good score on my ACT next year or if I'll have a high enough GPA to get accepted, which makes me feel really stressed out. Going to Korea has been a dream of mine for quite some time now and I want this to happen, I'm trying to keep a positive attitude and trying to teach myself Korean so I can be a little prepared for when the time comes. I hope this dream comes true so that in 2 years I can be studying in a Korean University just like I wanted to. :) Anyway, the ending of this video made me tear up because of the inspirational words you said, so thank you, I will keep trying my very best. Heyyy!! So your videos are soo exciting and especially this one because it's really a dream of mine to go to Korea! I'm a sophomore in high school so that means when I graduate it'll be in 2019 and I'm for sure that I want to go to college because I want to major in foreign languages XD I started off with learning Korean through k-dramas (of course) haha but I seriously fell in love with it but it's not just only that language but as well as Japanese, French, Chinese, etc. I wasn't sure how it could be easy to exchange to Korea though... I live in California in the south so that means that my options to universities will be UCLA or UCSD which are at least the closest ones. I haven't researched if they have student exchange programs but I truly hope they have goods ones because it'll be like stepping into paradise but in reality (ok not literally xp) but right now at this moment I can already see myself in Korea and speaking Korean!! I see myself speaking with cute Korean boys 😁 (I'm a girl btw). I see myself walking along the beautiful streets I see in shows and in videos. I just really want to experience life alone in a way that I'm independent, not saying that I'm tired of my family it's just exciting thinking that my parents will not exactly be there 😂 anyway, I noticed in another video that you showed a small portion of the Bible and I was so surprised because I am a Christian disciple as well or at least I know I am xD and I thought, "how do you have so much time in your hands? And what do you do to give some time in reading the Bible?" Okay that's about it, i typed wayyy to much :/

Im currently going through the process of applying to study abroad at Ewha University for a school year and i couldn't be more excited! Although i am worried i won't get accepted because my gap isn't the greatest :( but it does meet the minimum gap requirement for the program! I am also looking for scholarships because I need to pay for dorm and a little bit of my tuition :( I am really anxious so i hope i get accepted !!!

Yes my university has relations with Yonsei! I wanted to go to japan as im studying japanese as a major but my university didnt have a sister school which allowed me to continue my other major (business) so I think korea is the next best option. It will allow me to continue my japanese studies in korea, but also learn korean as i'll be studying in Korea itself. So excited!

Lovable Taehyung Look into the Erasmus programme. Also once you get to university speak to the exchange department. For Korea look into SOAS or Sheffield. I know that for Korean studies at Sheffield you need to spend two semesters (9 months) in Korea as compulsory

I know how you feel. I have been teaching myself Korean for a minimum of 4 years and am a sophmore in High school. I feel like I haven't gotten anywhere with the language though. I have no one of Korean descent that could help me. I am 16 years old and wish to go to Korea and learn the language. Initially, I wanted (and still do) to go and audition for an entertainment industry to become an idol trainee. But, my mom won't let me go. I understand why and all, but still. I wanna see how it could all turn out, despite my age. I even thought of living with a korean host family during my stay. But, I don't know how that would turn out. Questions continue to pop up in my mind. If I dont go now, I'll make it absolutely so that I go when I get older.

you could. look up different student exchange websites that has south korea as one of their destinations but i'd have to say they are quite expensive though there are discounts/scholarships available. also another way would probably be to ask our school if they have student exchange though that is highly unlikely. BTW I am also 14/turning 15 this year and I also want to go to south korea to study.

This method you were talking about really sounds so easy~ I am just afraid that my country won't have an exchange program because I am not in an english speaking country and so I don't know how I could get accepted. But I just looked and apparently this big university in the country next to mine has made a contract of exchanging students with Kyunghee university :D (I would prefer Chungang because as I watch your videos it looks awesome and I kinda got used to it, but I also like Kyunghee too) I really really hope I will somehow get in at first to the university here, because my grades are like in the middle always :'D It would be so nice to meet you by the way, you look so nice! pinkfluffy ZEOCORN if you mean you want to go to Korea and study all four years there, then yes! It's possible! You'll just have to go through a language program first so you can take all your classes in Korean! I'd look up a program with Yonsei University or Korea University or Seoul National University if I were you. 😊😊

Hi I saw your video and thought you're very lucky cuz it is also my dream to go to south korea and study maybe for high school but my school only has a sister school in japan and not in south korea. its not that I don't like japan, its just that I'm more interested in south korea. also I'm 14 but turning 15 this year and I'm a yr 9, I live in Australia but not in a capital city though I could always move to a capital city to enroll in a university. Avery Johnson you can do a high school exchange through Rotary. They sponsor high school students that want to go to high school in other countries and it's also the cheapest high exchange program, about $6,000 for 10 months. You should look them up if you really really want to go. I was about to do myself, but then one of my family members passed away so I didn't get the chance to.

Maybe if we apply for only one semester it would be something like 5,000 dollars ?! haha I'm trying to persuade myself. No, you don't need a home university to study in Korea! :) I explained in the video that I am most likely going back to Yonsei University in about a year and a half to do their language program! And you don't need a university for that. :) You just apply through them!

Not at all! It was so easy!! International students are actually strongly encouraged to stay in the dorms. And the dorms are actually soooooo cheap too!! :D I love the dorms here!
