I really need it to hear this! I'm on my last year of nursing school, but my first year I knew that I was in the wrong path. Each year i thought about dropping out, my my parents expectations and pressure were louder than my own opinion! Now, i finally made the decision to drop out and move on with my passion, makeup! I've started a channel and my next step is to find a job to save up for a makeup couse! The hardest part is that everyone says i should just finnish college since i have little time left anyway, but my mental heath just took a turn and my anxiety just overpowers everything I do! So staying in college was no doing me good! It's so hard and embarassing to manifest something when everyone around me thinks i 'm going to flop and that i'm doing the wrong thing so i just feel silly expressing what I really want to do 🧡 anyways thank you for sharing

don't listen to nay Sayers! It is your life and you are the one to call the shots. Just keep on going in the direction that is 'calling you'. Sometimes the people who love us the most, are the barrier to our own happiness. They talk us out of things out of their own fear that you would fail...So create the life YOU want. It may not be easy, but focus on ONE step in the right direction and don't look back. Everyone I know that went against what the 'norm' says one should do - have had massive success by following their own guidance. Best wishes!!!! You've got this!

I did a couple years of nursing school before permanently dropping out of it. It is so difficult and my anxiety levels were through the roof. Everyone else said I should keep going “you’ll be such a good nurse”. Ugh. I quit, sold my giant pile of nursing textbooks and have NEVER regretted it. That was 10 years ago. It’s hard to follow your own star when you are getting pressured from family. Good for you for following your intuition. No one else can tell you what’s best for you. I applaud you. Now go and live your wonderful life 🤗

1st, I love your bangs it's cute. 2nd this video is exactly what I need yay. I've once worked as a waitress at a food court but my intention was just to fulfill my 3 months semester break instead of looking for money. Turns out it is very satisfying to have your own money. Anyway thanks for introducing me to Rakuten!

Thank you so much Rowena! There's a high chance you might not be able to read this but i really want you to know that i am so so grateful for sharing your experiences and thoughts as they spark motivation in me. Tbh, these days have been hard for me as i found myself feeling stuck, don't know how to regain joy and energy that i used to have in doing the things i love and usually do, doubts are starting to bombard my mind again, my self esteem is starting to reach the lowest point and so so many more negative stuff i wish they weren't there on the first place.. As i heard your words I've realized that these are what I needed to hear as I am in the midst of this silent catastrophe within me .. Months to go before college life starts and I am really trying my best to become much better than I was at my high school years.. Thank you so much Ro ro.. It's really a blessing to have you here in this kind of platform... forever grateful for the day I've stumbled upon one of your vlogs here.. Take care always, my role model ❤ xie xie

Haha) i feel how you put so so so much of your cares for everyone out there who are struggling with their life and trying to figure out of 'WHAT-SHOULD-I-FVCKIN-DO' to make a living. A lot of people on the media just throwing this and that, that we don't know are genuine or not and leave us puzzled when you just genuinely wanted to help! I love you, lets dry those tears from our eyes and start to appreciate ourself more! You are superb, you are enough.

Im a really creative person but I wouldnt know if to make a living from that. :O
@IshikaShanai5 жыл бұрын
@@eleay1996 You don't have to force yourself to make a living from your creative pursuits y'know. But, if you wish to, learn how to sell (either your skills and time or a physical/digital product) and handle customers. Since at the end of the day, you're there to provide a service to a client; be it create a product for them that they cannot make themselves or provide a service that they themselves don't want to spend the time learning how to do. Essentially, think of yourself as a problem solver and you provide the solution to a problem your customer has which they will gladly pay you to fix for them. As for your "many interests that don't seem to combine" why don't you just try combining the two closest ones? For example, drawing and painting are two different interests (and disciplines), but similar enough that you don't have much friction switching between the two. Same for photography and video making.

Find the things you enjoy and do them, you'll meet people with same interests. What type of people are you trying to attract? Are you that type of person? When it comes to friends it helps to have similar interests and values for me like honestly, integrity, and trust. It takes effort. I'm sure you'll find your crew. I can't say that I still have all the same friends from ten years ago... maybe just a handful. But let the bad ones go... and be ok with it, and maybe they'll come around. Maybe even hit some of those old friends up, after all, are you the same person you were ten years ago? I sure am not and have reconnected with many people as well in this way. Love = acceptance.. like total acceptance of human beings for what they are and what they are not. I believe in Karma.

Hey Rowena! You are so inspiring and i love your hustle ☺ but can i ask how you keep a track of your sales? I saw you kept tracked of how much you "bought" it for and how much you "sold" it for but i cant quite understand how you get the profit numbers because i had to whip out my calculator to figure out how you did it, and i subtracted the "paid" price with the "bought" price because i assume thats how much the customer paid for it? And then i subtracted the shipping, but i always end up missing a few dollars off. How do you do it? I'm sorry if this is over-prying, im just genuinely curious. Also, this is a long shot, i hope you do see it tho! ☺😂
@clementine41333 жыл бұрын
You are doing great, the reason you get less views it is because that trend of well being, self care and organization has spread and many people are posting that type of content, though as a meditation practioner, wellness lover (30 years!!!), and mature person, you are doing a great job: content, visuals, sound, voice, pace, intent received and perceived are really good, filling, feeding, emulating. Thank you.
