It's so smart to apply for one target and safety college at EA round, and save a lot of money at RD round! Love these videos!
@freakyunderdog Жыл бұрын
Exactly, if you ED a safety while keeping in mind you're guaranteed acceptance, your Fin Aid package would be pretty generous compared to RD cycle; and that is specially relevant to int'ls looking for full need to be met.

your videos have helped me calm down about the application process... esp your common app essay video. im super stuck on what to write on:( gonna take it one step at a time... im planning on applying to Stanford (early restrictive action) but it sucks how I can’t apply for the rest of my colleges early bc I won’t know to continue doing apps or not until regular:( but if it’s my dream school I would commit to, should I still take that chance right? for demonstrated interest? also ur reasons for choosing a college is so simiIar to mine LOL (the location, name, and FINANCIAL aid, all super important) thank u again for ur videos!! im so glad I found u :)

For personal statement, I found it helpful to just bs one and see where it ends up, especially with a certain UChicago supplemental essay. Don't obsess over it, and when you get a tiny bit of an idea, just roll with it 💛

You repeated multiple times that your arguments are superficial, but I'm actually impressed by how mature and realistic you are! Your reasoning definitely isn't superficial - you made a lot of valid (and somehow unpopular) points in this video. Thank you!

I'm an international student. I'm choosing universities in US because I want change in my culture and I've had a goal of studying in US since 4th grade lol. I have THE EXACT same reasons as you, like I CANNOT stress this enough which is also why I'm binging your video deadass. I have checked so many universities and none of them seem to provide any proper financial aid to international students. I would definitely aim for Ivies but I don't have good ecs since there is almost 0 exposure to ecs in India, in my country there is very less exposure to Ecs which is why mine aren't that strong. Are there any good universities which help international students, so far ik few Texas universities do, but like I absolutely love your videos and ig that's why I'm spamming lol. Love you!
