How I made OEM turbo external wastegated

There are many advantages having the boost controlled using External wastegate instead of Internal which is how it's set up in both BK1 and BK2 turbo.
Here's how I did it to convert BK2 twin scroll turbo to be externally wastegated which helped turbo to spool up even faster and help the boost not to taper down.

You have to excuse me because while I have owned many turbo cars, none of them were a Hyundai, but the 4B11 is a world engine, and I know they're in the Evo X, but wouldn't just swapping to an Evo X turbo make the car faster and more responsive? They make, what? 291-303 HP out of the box? What is the main difference between the 4B11 in the Evo compared to the Genesis? ECU tuning and turbo/manifold design? I know the relationship between Hyundai and Mitsubishi in the past resulted in Hyundais using Mitsubishi engines, but what was Hyundai thinking when they decided to stray that far from Mitsubishi and totally choke down the 4B11 for use in the Genesis? 210 vs 291 hp, what were they thinking? I realize that they can't offer their 4 cylinder with as much power as the 3.8, but why choke it down so much that it makes almost half of what the 3.8 makes? I know when they first came out there was very little aftermarket support for the 4B11, so it wasn't even worth it for people to put bolt ons on it because it just made very little difference unless you went custom manifold with a big turbo and completely redesigned everything. Once again though, I know very little about this platform, I'm just going by what I heard and read.

can you do this mode on the bk1 turbo or its only on the bk2 turbo? and if I'm already tuned stage 2 on my bk1 will i see a difference with this mode if it's doable on a bk1 turbo ? thanks 🙂

Marc Slusarek he said it is relatively easy to do external waste gate on the bk1 turbo because it's not twin scroll, but you won't see the power gains because that comes from the turbo itself being faster to spool
