I’m in the hiring process with MSC however, I wanted to start with SIU as you did but they seem to require more and you’re required to apply for a job in person only. Which means you don’t know if there’s something available that you 1. Qualify for 2. that you’re open to doing… after taking that trip if a hall isn’t local like for me living in Ga. So my goal is to start with them and then make changes. The entry pay is low but I’ve been told that OT will make more than the difference. I’m nervous but I’m going for it.

Yo. I just got on with grand river navigation as an OS deckhand/GMM. I’m wondering about the coveralls, they have to be orange or can be any color? I’ve seen you and another persons video and y’all both had on orange coveralls lol, so I’m wondering if that’s industry standard. I’m trynna get all my stuff ready and packed. Is there a cap on how many bags you can bring on the ship? You should do a video of your preparing to leave with how you pack, how many bags you bring, what kind of bags you bring, how you get them onto the ship and all that. Im not yet able to go thru the process yet since im abroad at the moment but I've been studying how to get in to this and from what I found is you make very low pay and get on some of the worst ships, keep in mind its only what i found in my research so take it with a grain of salt
