Yes I do. I was an engineer for 13 years. Turned mom and homeschooler. I cannot think of returning to an industry where I don’t have control over my schedule. The enjoyed designing but I was not fulfilled or passionate. I’m starting out on Etsy to start something. It’s my first venture. I’ll be following to hear and be inspired by your stories ❤

@@SandraDi This is correct , I see myself now distracted by many ideas, should focus on one at a time, my passion is teaching (BTW I am engineer also, and now working in academia teaching engineering related courses, I love it too much more than working in industry.), I started my KZbin channel but slow in posting since still learning editing and exploring, it took long time till take the first step and post first videos, need balance with my busy schedule full-work.

@@danishpinjari6037 I procrastinate on my goals too! I know how frustrating it can be. My advice is to start taking baby steps, no rush. Just focus on 1 small task every day. It will get you closer and will build that momentum to keep going :)

@ it’s been busy! I do skin/makeup content and once I started going offers left and right for working with mini brands. I haven’t made that much but lots of gifted products was nice. I’m going to focus 2025 on generating more income for sure!

@@amybaker2247 absolutely! The best way to grow your email list is to offer your audience something for free in exchange for their email address (like a checklist, worksheet, pdf guide, etc). I personally use Flodesk to grow my list. Regarding sponsorships, most of them have contacted me, but you can 100% reach out to them and let them know how partnering with you would benefit their company. Affiliate programs are a little simpler - go to the website and look for “affiliate program” links and apply! 😊

I have been watching your Etsy content for a while and i really wanted to Open a Shop but i was to afraid to fail. So as an artist i decided to quit my Callcenter Job and start with KZbin. The Idea was make Art Content on KZbin, build a Community and maybe Open an Etsy Shop. I was looking for Tutorials when you changed from Etsy to KZbin content. You should be able to reduce or eliminate it by filling out the W-8BEN form and claim a treaty benefit! I was having issues with this but went through it with my accountant lol I hope that helps!

I really want to start a YT channel. I'm an aspiring singer & dancer. If I could make a really good income out of singing & dancing, I will never ever turn towards a typical outside job. But I'm not sure if I could earn a lot by sharing my singing & dancing videos on YT. I don't even know if such videos will even get monetized because we do use someone else's songs for our performances. YT can probably be only helpful to promote my work. Don't know if I can actually earn from it. Anyway, for now I'm thinking of first trying out Etsy for a passive income source

My recommendation is to focus on the type of audience you’re trying to attract and only create content for them. Also review your analytics often to see what’s working and create more of that :)
