A lot of things are wrong in this process, amount of coffee that was pour into the grinder, your coffee handle it’s wet, the tamping is wrong. I have this machine and I did this the first time and I thought I was making good coffee. I learned how to do everything the right way and everything taste so much better. If you’re buying a $1000+ espresso machine, you better do it right. Most people that have this machine, won’t get the best out of it because they’re not using it right. I’m not trying hate on your video, just letting you know things I wish I knew before o bought this machine 👍🏻 try to learn from it and you will thank me! ✌🏼

Can you please elaborate on doing everything the right way?

@@ilje10 i think he means having enough coffee so uoe can tamp a nice bed of coffee. along with the right grind size. so when your coffee flows it is a nice stream.with some colour in it. within a certain time frame. youcan get some beautifull coffee out of breville machines. i have had my touch impress 2 months and am still playing with it. each bag of coffee is different. each day the coffee can be different. that was all milk with a dribble of coffee. if you dont want a strong coffee still pull a full shot and split it into two cups. at least it will be a good shot of coffee.

How do I get a good extraction? Does it depend on how many seconds I chose to grind or the grind size?
@foodieriggs44992 жыл бұрын
I've found that the you have to find the correct grind size your specific coffee bean. I have to adjust my settings based off the bean I use.

Water flows where there’s least resistance. Make sure your grind is right and your tamp leaves your coffee puck tight, smooth, with no visible areas where the water can run through unevenly. On my Barista Pro my espresso shot pulls at 8 seconds and based on my coffee grind, that yields a very nice pull.🙂

How frequent does the flush indicator pops up? I have a Breville pro. It seems to come out often once in two weeks.

I have the Touch and I only get the message every 3 months or so.

Mine popped up after 1 month . Do you perform clear water backflush on yours at least once a week? Maybe this can help increase the flush indicator on yours

Can’t hear you at all half the time. I suggest re-making the video, and describing your ratios and temperatures.

So much noise, plus music it’s hard to hear you. Also when making videos like this it’s helpful to see every step and close what buttons you chose, what settings etc
