I have been struggling with using polymer clay to try and make charms, as well as painting them. This seriously just changed the game for me because now I will absolutely be able to have more accessible ways of making my charms!

I'm so glad!! It's a shame that art can be such an expensive hobby, everyone should be able to create the things they want 🩷

@@auttieonthego where I live we don't use the oven like in usa and uk ...we have basic microwaves ...so definitely polymer clay was out ...I found air dry clay and it works equal magic as polymer

I already know how to do all of this, but I enjoyed watching the video. I like seeing how other people do stuff. And this is a nice alternative to polymer clay which is hard to work with sometimes.

Hello ! I love your style, the video and the fact you are showing everything from start to end ! 🥰 I also wanted to give you advice for when you open and close a loop ; if you don't want to spoil the shape of your loop you can open it sideways. Like the jump rings you have, they are opened sideways to keep the good round shape. 😊 I wish you good luck in your creative life and can't wait to see more ! And for anyone who reads this, have a wonderful day ! 💖

Ive just gotten into Jewelry making and I have a lot of air dry clay to use up... Not to mention tons of cookie cutters i still need to try out... This tutorial gave me lots of ideas! I hadn't heard of Sculpey glaze. Does it prevent the clay from "reactivating" if wet? (I made a clay dreidel and my daughter touched it with wet hands even though it had been dry for weeks... I had no idea it would re-wet!!! 😨)
@bearberet6 ай бұрын
I'm glad I could inspire you! 🥰 The clay that I use doesn't reactivate when it gets wet from my experience so I'm not sure how your clay would react to having the sculpey glaze applied. I would maybe test it out on a small sample piece of clay first and see how it reacts before glazing a completed piece!

Love this demo video! 😍 Do you prefer to use glossy or satin sculpy glaze?
@bearberet7 ай бұрын
Thank you!! Honestly I've used both and haven't noticed much of a difference between the two 🤭 I think the satin one is ever so slightly less shiny, but still has a pretty glossy finish so I usually just buy whichever one is available/cheaper

Helloo i have a question can you use Mod Podge instead of the sculpty glaze to seal the design? :D

Can we use acrylisc varnish to glaze them

I haven't used varnish before but I would imagine it should be fine! I'd recommend just testing it on a small piece first and seeing how it comes out :)

whenever i glue my pins to the clay(airdry) , the glued section just falls off if applied even a little pressure . may i get any tips for this except for securing it with uv resin ?
@bearberet5 ай бұрын
Make sure you're using strong jewellery glue since regular glues aren't very strong! I personally use E600 jewellery glue and haven't had any issues with the pins falling off. Hope this helps!

hii! i use the same clay as you but the smell seriously kills me :( do you know how to get rid of the smell?
@bearberet3 ай бұрын
There's no way to get rid of the smell unfortunately! I can only really recommend maybe wearing a face mask and opening a window? Otherwise there are a lot of different air dry clay brands that will work just as well so you might need to try another brand if the scent is too much
