Nice, my family usually use cilantro instead of green onion. I made the mistake first time making it without pan frying the fish first, the whole pot was super fishy. From my understanding, the frying process breakdown the fish oil so it won't make the broth taste fishy. Thanks for your video.

The frying process brings out the flavors and cooks away the fishiness I believe. You can also make fish head soup with a steamed fish head and bones. I think the important thing is to cook the bones to get the best flavors. Thanks for joining the adventure! 🤙🏼
