As far as I know, you're the only keyboard reviewer on youtuber that I know of that constistently: 1. Explains the inner workings of EVERY key switch for every keyboard you review in FULL detail, not just "Oh, this is a cherry MX Blue, it's a clicky variant... anyways" 2. Actually SHOW a fucking god damn clean and clear demonstration of what the keyboard sounds like (It pisses me off when they don't show us) 3. You clearly know what you're talking about and you've helped me find a good number of keyboards that I absolutely love that I otherwise would've never known about, "I'm typing this on my AT101 By the way". I never would've known about the AT101 if you didn't post a video on it years ago. 4. You have the voice of god. Who wouldn't want to listen to god talk about keyboards?

@@Chyrosran22 I own a keyboard that you may want to review. It is called the Razer Deathstalker Essential, and it by far the worst Razer keyboard ever created, to the point that Razer recently deleted almoat all mentions of it from its website. It uses what are essentially upsized laptop switches, and judging by your previous reactions to similar keyboards, I expect that you will have fun with this one.

It is a crime that so many brainless prank videos get millions of views meaning their creators get tons of cash and we have Thomas here that puts an enormous amount of time and care into his vids and gets a fraction of the revenue. That is a good question though and I suspect keyboards are Thomas's hobby as well so maybe he isn't expecting to be making a living off it though, of course I'm sure he wouldn't complain if he could.

A much, much better decision would be to switch to Resolve. There's very little reason to use Premiere anymore. Resolve is intuitive, professional, free, reliable, regularly updated, super easy to learn if you're switching from Premiere and has a ton of features to make editing your videos more efficient and the final product better. It would only probably take a day or two to learn and could drastically cut the time needed to edit your videos and help with things such as your scrolling related RSI issues. Everyone I know that has tried switching is very happy they did.

Nice to see that you'd be willing to show us the inner machinations of the review videos, sucks that the keeb is in such poor condition but I'm glad you could still review it and show us your script and your way of planning what keyboards are next. That clapper board is also smart. It beats just clapping for audio sync. And for the bloopers, have a reel of old ones if you ever decide to make a Patreon like you've considered a few times. Also, I love the corpsing (18:10) Also, how's your Audi? Does it run now? About those Space Invaders - I'm the guy that asked you on Reddit what lube you used for the Space Invaders and the Soarer's Converter. How did you open the switches? I'm cleaning some quite dirty ones in preparation for lubing them. Also, I'm missing a Big-ass enter key for my keyboard, which is quite annoying. I'm probably going to try to find a way to scan the Lshift key to 3D print an ansi one. Edit: cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/592089410389016905/691589218228502558/IMG_20200323_021923.jpg

Awww it's so nice that you did this! I've always really liked the qualities of your videos so it's really great to see how they're done. I didn't realize it was such a professional-ish process! Makes sense though. I always really appreciate it when artists share their process-now anyone who wants to make review videos has a nice example of a process that worked well for someone. I work as a game developer + composer and I always wish more people did things like this in both the game and music (and game music) worlds-it raises the quality of a whole art form because it saves people from reinventing the wheel. I'm just curious-hearing your interjections, you swear like a native English speaker XD I can hear a whisper of a Dutch accent in your "th"s and such occasionally so I imagine you grew up in the Netherlands(?), but were your parents from England or something like that? A lot of Dutch people I've met speak great English but usually with a thicker accent and not quite so naturally. Since I know your videos are scripted I wasn't sure what your "off the cuff" English is like-it's very impressive! I guess having so much English-language media around in the world probably helps some too.
