I have the same printer. The prints I print using it are fantastic! I use Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper as its texture is similar to the one of the paper I use to draw. Thank you for sharing your process with us!

Hi! Love your work! I was wondering how often do you replace the ink for your printer I know that it obviously depends on how much you print but how many prints roughly do you think it is. Thank you so much

Thank you! I haven't kept a really close count so it's a bit of an estimate but I would say I replace some of the cartridges after roughly a pack and a half of the velvet fine art paper which has 20 sheets... obviously this really depends but hopefully gives you a rough estimate!

Thank you so much for such a beautiful and informative video. Do you have any advice for making prints where the original was on textured paper? I mostly create watercolor and use CP and sometimes even rough paper. Whenever I've tried scanning them in my scanner, it always turns out really bad. I've been able to scan the rare pieces of work I've created on smooth paper just fine, so I know it isn't 100% that I have a bad scanner. I think it is just the texture.

Thank you for watching 🥰 I wish I had some good advice for your question! the piece I showed in this video was done on quite textured paper, but i’m assuming the paper you are painting on is super textured to be showing up in the scan so much? I find with more textured paper i have to hold down the top of the scanner or put a heavy book on it to make sure it scans evenly…I hope you find a solution!!
