My family and i have been trying this shampoo bar and found it gives our scalp like a buildup on. Could it be the Coco betadine? Or the SCI? We like how it cleans our hair, just not the build up on our scalp. What do you recommend for substitution? I absolutely love your products you're amazing and so informative. If you wanted in smaller quantities then convert to percentage of. So if she uses 15 oz of something and you want to make one tenth of the batch you're going to add 1.5 oz of that ingredient instead of 15.

Thank you so much for inspiring “me”, haha, to try to make this. I also like my products to be as much as natural as possible. However, I will go at it in a smaller amount, so I will scale it . In order to do it I need to add up all the ingredients , then divide what you are actually using to get the %, and then just multiply the percentage by the batch I will be making, is this correct? Is there an ingredient I shouldn’t add in your total ingredients? I don’t know if I am making myself clear, but I hope you understand. Thank you so much for sharing your info.

you can use another preservative but make sure you use it to suggested rates , citric acid will not bring the same properties to this bar as apple cider vinegar , citric acid will lower the ph a bit but that's about it
