Solid Shampoo (How To Make a Shampoo Bar) Tutorial

Hello everyone! I have come up with a new shampoo bar that I am excited to be sharing with you! This shampoo bar is made with plant based surfactants as well as horsetail butter and lemon powder for strength and shine! In this video, I show you how it's made step by step. Shampoo bars are wonderful because they last a long time, are compact, are eco and travel friendly! Not to mention, they are amazing for your hair and have all the things you want in a shampoo and nothing you don't want! I hope you like this video.

I thought it was really neat that your stylist agreed to use your shampoo bar to demonstrate how it works. Some stylists would be put off by that as they try to push thrir own products at you. They do this by using the products they like best and show you how their brand is superior. I know this, as my first degree I ever got was a hair and skin care diploma. (That didn't last long, I became a nurse, for 28 years!) I enjoyed watching you make these, the star shape is cute! Jill Gross

I ordered this bar last week and a conitioner bar and I have to say I love them both the shampoo bar latherd so well and smells soooo good my hair is color treated and usually feels dry but it was so soft after using just wanted to say I was Impressed with both products ty Cory

Good tutorial, but who has high tech equipment and ingredients to make that? The numbers in terms of cash expense would make me buy shampoo instead unless this is to sell shampoos for business.

I believe these can be hand pressed using a manual press. You can find them on Etsy. Yes, shampoo bar ingredients are expensive, however, if you invest in the ingredients, you can make so much shampoo that your cost per bar is very reasonable.

I think it's just worth noting for other views that this tutorial involves using an $800+ Bath bomb press machine. While the video is informative, it could be a waste of your time to watch it if you don't have that machine (?). Perhaps the Channel owner might mention that upfront in the beginning. Thanks.

I believe you can use a hand press for this recipe although, I’m not completely sure as I have not tried it. I may have mentioned this in previous shampoo bar videos. You can find hand presses on Etsy.
