All of your soaps looks so pretty and look like a cake with icing on top with your swirling design. I wish I can get some of the good hemp oil you use but Canada doesn't sell to the USA. :(

You can get hemp oil in the USA some states like Florida make you have a permit to sell products containing it try Washington state or Oregon

Question: how do you make the essential oil strong yet safe enough to actually leave a scent on the skin? Or... is it just used as an aromatherapy type? Thanks in advance :)

Have you tried Moringa Leaf Power for a green? I use it when I make bamboo soap it’s a nice pastel/ on the edge of darker green.

May i ask if I stick to one or two recipes and play with colors or fragrance, is it ok or it wont work this way?

I love the muted colors in this! Beautiful. I know you guys are in Canada but are you originally from Seattle? I love noticed you’re big Seahawks fans 😋 I live in Washington myself.

Hi Jerika, what ratio of Rosemary to Mint do you use? My soap using these EO's has faded! I thought for sure they would stay :( I used a 70% Rosemary to 30% Peppermint ratio. I only used 3% /g. as well.

What resources did you find to be the best and most helpful for you when starting out and how do you come up with your own or figure out not only how to change/tweak recipes from other people or yourself in order to fix or put your own spin on it is it just a matter of knowing the ingredients and the purpose they each have or something else? How do you know you’re going to end up with a quality, safe and beneficial product, rather than one that’s…. Not?? Dying to try doing some of these projects but scared my inner scientist might be more mad than yours seems to be and I have no pets to test on lol

I keep reading on several soap bloggers that Indigo powder is difficult to mix and it should be mixed with oil first or added to the hot lye water and yet I watched you just dump it in at trace. Is it maybe the brand of powder that you use?
@JerikaZimmerman4 жыл бұрын
If you want a very deep blue, I hear using it the way you described is how you do that. I just wanted a nice blue-green, so I don’t fuss with that stuff. The more streamlined my process the better 😀
