key points or short summary for u (and me:)): 1. Rate-limiting steps: activities that take the longest time and slow you downnn -> so i would explain it like Ali Abdaal named it: Multimodality Multitasking-> do 2 things at once, but different modes of Tasks (e.g. reviewing flashcards in the bus) 2. Habits-> so u don't have to plan ur stuff newly every day! 3. Outsourcing->paying others to do the boring stuff 4. a system for ur time management aka Google Calendar (mentioned here and i love it too) 5. the Oscar goes tooooo : Love what u do. -> the concept of Ikigai

@@gockelxxxxxl9584 Hi! 4th year here: if I could go back and tell my first year meddie self anything, it would be to have heard of Dr Justin Sung sooner. His KZbin channel singlehandedly changed the way I learn and made med school content feel sooooo much more palatable. I only discovered him halfway through my third year, and then suddenly everything I was learning was suddenly sticking in my brain and making sense collectively like how I understand things I enjoy, like my hobbies. You don't realise how much time you're wasting on inefficient study until you finally try to understand and employ non-linear learning! I know it sounds corny but this guy helped me bridge the gap between knowing and understanding, and I want every student to discover it. I can't praise him enough because he's not even hiding this info behind a paywall - I learnt everything I knew from his free videos. He's got a course but based off how he described it, it's more for those who either don't have time to figure it out only on their own, or those who just really need deeper help than just leaving a comment or reaching out to him with a question on social media. I figured I'd try giving it a shot on my own and I found it worked well enough!!

Babe, I love this, and James Clear. But I am not killing myself with bleach everyday while I shower lol. Steam makes smells more potent. However, the Fly Lady's morning "swish and swipe" works 10xs better for me. This is a great video. Love all these tips. You're a true inspiration!
@sophiaprice4859

Came straight to the comments when I heard that part! You absolutely should not stay in a room with bleach for a prolonged period. I think a better alternative would be to pop the bleach in the toilet after your shower when you’re opening your window to let the steam out. 10 mins later you can come back, flush the toilet and close the window. In the mean time, you can spend those 10 mins in your bedroom getting dressed, drying your hair, etc.

I rarely comment on anything and any social platfrom but i must say this. I have noticed that there are so many 'self help/self care' guru's content creators and at leats 70% of them are not actually guru's and they are just yapping commen sense or their own opinion. I don't really care about their content, but it got me really selective on who i am watching. So i just wanted to say; Thank you for this video because i can tell (my opinion) that you really know what you are talking about, you really sound educated/experienced in this matter. you are not yapping about stupid shit and you are straight to the point. I rarely subscripe to anyone, but i know you are worthy of watching and learning from :)

Okay, people here are saying how out of touch she is for mentioning outsourcing as a tip, but I disagree. As she mentioned, women are so much more likely to try to do everything, and men are more likely to delegate. It is a good reminder that you don't have to do absolutely everything yourself just to feel like you are in control or that you actually did accomplish something. She just said that if you do have the means and resources to do so, delegating and outsourcing some tasks is good. It doesnt even have to always cost money, just look out for opportunities to delegate some tasks. I saw this in action in a tv show once and it stuck with me (House MD for anyone curious) The dean of Medicine of a hospital, a woman, refused to get a nanny but she also had way too many responsibilities at work and she literally brought her kid to work. She was so stressed out and she felt terrible. Finally one of the other characters, a male doctor tells her that women do what she's doing. If it were a man in her position, he'd have two assistants at work and a wife and nanny at home. That line just stuck with me so much. So yeah, thats all Faye wanted to convey here too. Thanks for reading through my rant lol
