I think we should stop thinking about how great and deserving the other women or person is instead we should start thinking about ourselves and affirm that “I deserve the best ! My grandmother always said, if you notice something new about someone, always comment on something positive about it - even if you don't love it (just say something you like ie "the color of that skirt is beautiful "). That way they feel noticed and appreciated, and your complement was sincere.

Compliment, the act of saying something positive about something. Complement is something that accentuates something or someone in a positive way. (Her hair color complemented her makeup and skin color perfectly.)❤❤

1:58 Wow, this really made me realize why I’ve struggled with routines promoted by self-help gurus, especially those from white male KZbinrs. Their routines-like waking up at 5 a.m. to work out-don’t align with my life. But your point about emotional labor clicked for me: routines aren’t about the specific activities; they’re about reducing decision fatigue. It’s not about what you do but having something pre-planned that works for your life. Thank you for helping me see this in a new way!
@katieo3421Ай бұрын
The conversation around boundaries in this video really resonated with me. My thoughts on boundaries were previously always something like, "what boundaries? I don't need boundaries! I'm happy giving so much of myself to other people!" but I've really come to realize how detrimental that can be for me in a variety of ways. That and mastering the art of conversation are two things I really want to work on this year!

I have a colleague who has over 2 decades of dermatology experience and they told me that lengthy skincare routines are likely more damaging than anything. She told me the best thing you can do for your skin is wash it with plain old water unless you have visible dirt to remove from your skin, ie makeup, sweat from the gym etc when you should use a good oil based cleanser, then always moisturise. Since following her advice my skin has turned a corner massively. I no longer get huge breakouts, just a small breakout when I’m due my period. My eye circles and fine lines have reduced and my skin is so much more glowy and vibrant. I highly recommend a simple skincare routine.

hii! what abt people who have acne, oily skin and need specific products to help target their concerns? like, I'm a teen and I use a cleanser, an essence to help soothen inflammation, a moiusturizer and a sunscreen. it's really helping, but do you think making it simpler would help me achieve faster results?
