He is also tarnishing the long and friendship that both countries had by causing an unnecessary trade war with canada which by the way dies more damage to America then to canada. I hate Trump supporters like you because they are blinded. You neglect the fact that trump is racist and is one of the reasons why global warming is now worse then when Obama was president. Trudeau is much more respectable trump is a disgracful asswipe. It is a serious crime to even compare them to each other. Stfu

Canadian currency is something we could learn from, particularly their use of $1 and $2 coins. Most countries use them for a reason. Don't get me wrong, I love America and I generally prefer our way of doing things, but how many times have you tried to buy something from a vending machine, only to find that it refuses to take the only $1 bill in your wallet? Sometimes there isn't even anything wrong with it, the stupid machine just won't take it for whatever reason. You dig around in your pockets to see if you have enough coins to use instead. You find a nickel, two pennies, and insert cliche non-coin third item here. Nope. You're either gonna have to go get change somewhere, or if that $1 bill WAS messed up or whatever, try using a $5 bill. If the machine even accepts fives, you're stuck walking around with a pocket pull of quarters for the rest of the day. All of this for some M&Ms. Now, same scenario, but in a country that mints dollar coins. I visited Australia in 2006. While staying at one of my hotels, I decided that I wanted a Violet Crumble (an Australian candy bar that I had the opportunity to try in a History class a few years earlier), so I walked down to the vending machine. My mother had given my brother and I some walking around money, which mostly consisted of $1, $2, and $3 coins. I thought it was weird that they didn't have bills smaller than $5, but I soon discovered why. I put in my money, and made a selection. KLANG! Out came the Crumble, and then the change. I walked over the soda machine, and bought a Coca-Cola. KLANG! Out came the Coke, and the change. I collected everything, and took a couple steps back towards my room, when I paused. I looked at the small handful of change. I think maybe I got one or two coins from each purchase. I looked back at the machines. Then I realized that I at no point had to straighten out a bill, fold it in half longways, or offer a virgin sacrifice to the vending machine gods in hopes that I might actually get a cold drink on a hot day. I just thought to myself, "WHY THE HELL DON'T WE HAVE THESE?!"

Here's another social experiment to try, just out of curiosity, instead of chanting the abbreviated "U.S.A" in a bar, see if you can get the same response chanting "United States of America". How many will chant that back versus reverting to U.S.A or just America?

The problem is that with the US right south of us telling everyone how amazing they are, people tend to overlook Canada. Of course, right now with the current problem people are trying to come north for easier testing and better care if you test positive. But really, it's because we get flak for things like this, stereotypes propagated by mostly the US, who, to elevate themselves, drag down almost every other country in the world. Sorry if I offended anyone.

The thing about the America vs Canada jokes in this show is that, Barney is actually pointing out how Americans are doing some wild, stupid and crazy things in America and he thinks it's cool, and how Canada is just a peaceful boring place which he thinks is lame. They did a great job of making sure that the jokes are not offensive. 👍

Heather Smith they all recently said they were never going to move. They just want attention. Hollywood's stock prices are falling significantly that actors will be like they were during the times of Shakespeare. Flat broke traveling the country to perform eating the food that they're hit with. This is solely based in an economic stand point. I have no affiliation with either party, but I support my Commander in Chief

We don't take kindly to folks shit talking curling, or as some of us locals know it as 'rock humping with brooms' or 'skipping stones on easy mode' or 'the sport that filters who can stand while drunk from those that can't' or 'What Assholes from Plymouth set up in their backyards to show off they are wealthy yet surprisingly never play because what I want in my neighbor's backyard is a fucking skating rink with flood lights that they never seem to turn off'
