Respect the transparency! Best products to use is Shea moisture & Cantù. Their products are more targeted for POC. Especially our curly textures. Always detangle the curls & OIL is your best friend for moisture and growth. Think virgin oils: olive, coconut, argan, tea tree and black castor oil.

I'm so glad I found this! I just started using the same Cantu curling cream after trying everything available for my son. His hair is so long and thick, it's hard to maintain but I love his curls. Awesome!!! Thank you (even I’m a bit late finding this video)! One question: aren’t you worried about product built-up on his scalp? Mine’s been scratching his head bad lately, i try to do the same but no idea why all the scratching
@MemoirsofAKaysha4 жыл бұрын
Vesela Strom I know what you mean because this style does last for 3-4 days & remains moisturized until then but from our experience my little one doesn't have the scratching. If so, I would simply wash a day or two before & place a little bit of tea tree oil mixed with olive oil in hand to give scalp massage. It'll aid with the itchiness & give a nice scalp rub for little one to enjoy 😌

I finger coil my son’s hair but it gets so messy by the next day. I had a hair dresser tell me not to use too much product in his hair as to not ruin his developing curl pattern. I finger coil in much smaller sections because using larger sections didn’t look this good for us. You do it a litter differently than I do, but I might try your way to see if it’ll let his hair hold longer because I just use water and detangler every morning, but it would be nice to not have to do his hair every morning 😁
