Please do more on trimming plants. I like how you explain things so clearly! I bought a Gardyn 2.0 in December after watching your really thorough explanations.

I started my Gardyn just before Christmas as well and it's so great to be able to follow along with your growth. I just harvested for my first salad today and it was wonderful. See you on the next stage! (PS, I hope to see a pruning instructional for the cherry tomatoes and any peppers you've got)

I always plant too many things like carrots, beets etc and hate thinning them for the same reason you said. I feel so bad deciding which ones to kill.

I cried for every snip was made in this video. I just got MyGardyn and I'm on week two, so it will be interesting how much I have to "snip" when the time comes.

I noticed a lattice on the right, do you have any suggestion on placement for those that grow better with additional support such as tomatoes or vine plants? Are there plants that do better in the bottom of the system vs. the top?

Regarding trellis, I think it is better to get something like this and tie it to the columns using a zip tie amzn.to/3w0OISF Different types of plants require different type of lighting. Some prefer it bright like tomatoes and peppers, some prefer less brighness such as kale and arugula. Those you can put it on the side of the columns. There is a placement chart on Gardyn website showing you which spot is best for which plant. mygardyn.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051387472-yCubes-Placement-Guide

It’s time for me to trim back my strawberries should I leave one? Can I leave to plants per pine? Any idea?

For strawberries, I keep one plant per pod.

Hi! Just found your channel. Been looking for a hydroponic system for my wife as a gift. Gardyn 2.0 looks interesting but you also do the iharvest. Recommendations?

Hello, I made a comparison video about all the systems that I own. I personally prefer Gardyn because of the look and the fact that it is quiet. If you don't mind the sound of water, you might like the iHarvest. They are both great.

I am on day 14 and so far disappointed with what has sprouted. I have 16 sprouted so far and that includes ones that haven’t come out of the rockwool yet. No way my three week garden will look like yours. Haven’t added any food yet as only 3-4 have true leaves. Temp is 74-75 and humidity around 30%.. perhaps I need to add a humidifier in this area to get the response you have gotten.

My guess is the ones not sprouted yet are herbs, peppers and tomatoes? Those are the slowest to sprout. Like you said , I would try to raise the humidity level and wait for a couple more days before adding nutrients. Good luck.

@@plant4table actually mostly lettuce.. I moved a thermostat into the room it is in. I was way off.. it is 82 in here and 23% humidity!.. I live in the desert so I think this is my problem the temp and humidity need to be corrected somehow. My little one gallon humidifier isn’t doing anything to help correct. Off to find a bigger one!
@plant4table

@@DeeDee-uu2zo 82 degree is hot. Lettuces prefer cool temperature. This why most lettuces don't do well in the summer heat outdoor. Also, roots would rot if the temperature is too high in hydroponic environment. May be move the system to a cooler spot in your house? Also FYI, the Gardyn app tells you the temperature and humidity level. Just go to Setting and it is at the bottom.
