My hair ended up green years ago when I tried to get rid of it. I ended up having a pixie cut, which I love. I don't wish to be rude, but I'm concerned about your health. When I was 16 I had a goitre/goiter, when I went to the doctors, he said I needed iodine, to take sea salt. I notice your throat is swollen and is almost the size of mine when I was 16. Please could you put my mind at rest and have this looked at or start taking sea salt and let me know how you got on. Thank you. Blessings.

FYI: the process only starts at 4:50. Also, you say in the title "it's not vitamin C tablet" and the first thing you use is vit C (I know, it's in powder, but I think it does not really make a difference)? Confusing, hahah. But I will definitely try.

Here, I went ahead and pasted the ingredients from the powder you listed. -Ingredients : Pure Vitamin C Powder (L-Ascorbic Acid Powder) and this is the ingredients from vitamin C tabs -Ingredients : Pure Vitamin C in the form of L-Ascorbic Acid 1000 mg. Rose Hips 20mg. It is the same thing and people get the same results. Maybe you meant to use citric acid powder… that is stronger than ascorbic acid, tastes and behaves like lemon juice, and opens the hair cuticle.

Hi. I watched this video originally and then decided to move forward with trying Khadi henna/indigo (Ash Brown) as I had been afraid to use it for fear that if I changed my mind and wanted to change from the Ash Brown Khadi, that I would be stuck. When I watched this video and she advised that the L Ascorbic acid powder mixed with shampoo would remove the Henna + Indigo, for some reason, I trusted this. I bleached my Khadi Ash Brown colored hair and it removed the Henna. But the indigo remains. It appears as a dark gray/light blue color and my roots are yellow now! I tried this mixture of the L Ascorbic acid powder with the shampoo and I wrapped it with a plastic bag and a towel over that for x4 hours. The water running in my shower was clear and I suspected that there was going to be no change when I sneak peaked at it mid-way through the process and noticed no difference whatsoever. Still dark gray/blue hair with yellow roots. Now I don’t know what to do about my hair. My only viable option since Indigo seems to be permanent is to finish coloring it with the x2 boxes of Khadi Ash Brown over the next 2 months, now and then again for the root touch-up in a month when my gray roots are showing again (using the Khadi to save money on hair care and maybe give it a try again since I just bought this water bath to more easily heat the Khadi mixtures to the right recommended temperatures that I think maybe I wasn’t quite doing right before. Then my plan is to begin using box dye again so that eventually it will grow out with the box dye that will be easy to bleach once all of the indigo is gone. I’m going to have to wait the indigo out. I should have known from watching this woman’s video, as i suppose I’d initially suspected that the L Ascorbic acid/shampoo treatment did not work on her hair either. I was wishful watching her video. When she bleached her hair the roots (virgin hair) lightened like mine did. But her ends did not lighten. This has really stressed me out making this mistake as I’m trying to head back to work following surgical leave. Henna is red. Indigo cause the dark part. I wanted to lighten my hair back to the silver it was before and I can’t. I did use Judee’s L Ascorbic Acid, lots, more than she used mixed with some anti-dandruff shampoo. It did nothing and I’ve colored my hair with Khadi only twice. She said that she did for 1.5 years. Anyway, I’m super sad and wanted to write this so that no one else is fooled by this advice. Maybe she’s confused or maybe she’s selling Henna products or L Ascorbic Acid. But this did not work unless I was doing something wrong :(

Well, it is interesting because if you have indigo on your hair and if you try to bleach an indigo coloured hair, you will end up having green hair not blue or grey. so I think the original colour you applied on your hair was having mixture of chemicals in it instead of indigo, resulting your hair to be blue/grey. If you put pure plant powders including indigo, L Ascorbic Acid will remove it. I just received a message from someone that she successfully removed the henna and indigo from her hair with this method. and also make sure the Ascorbic Acid you use MUST be the most powerful grade

Hi, thank you for this video, for me it worked 😊 I just made it twice (mask-warm coconut oil- mask) and it seems that it stripped off a decent amount of indigo. I will repeat this process next week, but the condition of hair is very good and the change is noticeable so it is worth trying! The issue with stripping off plant based dyes is that people often treat henna and indigo as the same, while it needs completely different environment to dye (while henna needs acidic one, for indigo it needs to be alkaline). The way of treating and removing these two is completely different. Good to see the video where finally someone sees the difference and has some knowledge. Thanks a lot!

Did the pure vitamin C dry out your hair? Did you deep condition after each application and rinse off the vitamin C? And if it dried out your hair, did the deep conditioning treatment work (if you did a deep conditioning treatment)? Sorry for all the questions. I’m very curious about this process. It may be something I’ll try this coming summer.

Did it make your hair very dry? Will it work if I put henna on hair that had highlights and color done at a salon? I used Khadi Hair Color, did not like how it came off, really want to get rid of the indigo part of the color. But that was over my dyed and bleached hair. So wondering what might happen if I use this method? Also, will it dry your hair?

just put black henna on my hair a week ago, i hope this works ❤😊 buying the powder today w next day delivery, ill update if it works 👍 update: i did this once, and nothing much happened only some areas just turned green. i decided to do it again a week later after noticing that my hair got lighter in the sun and this time i covered the parts with more vitamin c powder and with aluminium foil, it worked sm better and was like a dark brown. my hair is a lightish brown rn and i currently have the mixture in my hair last update: I managed to get msot of the henna out of my hair, no more greenish parts and this all happened because i kept on trying, dont give up. once most of the henna was gone, most not all, i gently bleached my hair a little and toned it with brown hair dye. my hair is now a caramel brown which was previously black from the henna

@TJ-sy6lh Yes, i used black henna, on my hair that was a warm light brown colour. the reason why your hair turned black is because your hair colour was already dark & the henna just made it darker. have u tried this method yet? btw i suggest bleaching a test strand on your hair to see if it'll turn green (maybe do multiple strands)
