As someone who's become obsessed with trying to create a system to manage my time and resources, creating countless notion databases and bullet journals, just to end up not using them- this. This is a breath of fresh air. I need to stop overcomplicating everything, and just Do. Thanks for reminding me of the importance of simplicity.

I usually don't comment on videos but this one deserves all the praise. What you say in the intro of the video is absolutely right. I've been looking at planning and scheduling videos for months now because I've been stuck in a slump and absolutely no one talked about how a student should go about planning their day. I finally feel motivated to get my shit done because of how well you broke things down and made it so so simple. Things no longer feel overwhelming, thanks to you!

I've experienced how important having a flexible schedule is. Many times I would've just simply made an entire schedule for the week in which I had no spare time, and the toilet would broke, or someone would ask me for a favor that I couldn't say no, and by getting off the schedule I would at some point get exhausted and give up off the schedule for days or weeks. Getting track of your time and having due times is great, but I feel like a student I sometimes just need a time to sit on the couch and do nothing for hours. Give yourselves the maximum of free time to relax and do stuff you actually enjoy, it'll be easier to get your other stuff done consistently!

It’s really nice to see a student organisation video that isn’t just “plan your day minute by minute with a robotic and strict routine each day that has zero room for adaptation”. Quick, simple to understand, incredibly adaptable, space to implement smaller routines if desired and not generic. I’ve definitely leaned towards a method slightly similar after realising the whole day routine thing wasn’t for me. A to do list based on a spreadsheet of topics to revise, picking based both on urgency and time taken. I’d then tier them to see what I needed to prioritise for the day. But there wasn’t any other written structure asides from the class timetable and shift times, no master to do list for things outside of topic revision, no designated place to note extra things (I would write them somewhere but nowhere specific). My weekly calendar was basically just the additional topics I should use as replacements for complete tasks, so it would quickly get outdated/messy and didn’t provide extra benefit. It worked well enough overall but definitely could be improved, and won’t be as good at uni (more miscellaneous commitments/events, plus I got my own place between A-Levels and uni which needs more maintenance). I think this video basically has everything I need to sort the aspects of my previous method that didn’t work whilst also letting me incorporate other things that have worked for me that aren’t included here. A written system that allows for both allotting times and changing them, without requiring/tempting you to fill in pointless details and plan every minute (which was always frustrating and time consuming). Genuinely a really helpful video that’s allowed me to solidify the details of how I was going to change my plans

It is helpful! For the last 3 years I used to plan at the beginning of the semester when I would study each subject during the week according to the suggested weekly study time for each class. But of course it never ever went according to plan, there was always something new every day, and I ended up overwhelmed and disappointed I couldn't follow that strict schedule. But it makes sense. That's how life is, unexpected things happen! So with this method I feel like I'll eliminate the stress of not meeting my goals since in a short period of time I'll be able to make a more realistic schedule for each unique day:) Plus, I can change the schedule depending of my interest at the moment! Thank you so much!

A to-do-list app that I absolutely love is Stuff. It doesn't have any fancy features, it's pretty simplistic, but you use it as a widget, which is very useful for people who tend to just forget about the to-do lists they wrote (idk if that actually happens to other people too or if that's just a me phenomenon). It's directly on my homescreen, so I never forget about it
